Classes most, cardio equipment next
Only use gym
Good group leaders. Availability of equipment
Basketball courts so my son has a place to work on his skills.
The gym is always clean and friendly
The community outreach is great and the people are nice. Dixie and Durrell make my day when I see them at the NE Cobb Y.
Great instructors and good classes. They follow guidelines from CDC.
Accessibility, dedication of instructors, variety of activities.
Group exercise classes. I love the variety of instructors who share their passion for fitness.
I like the 8:30 and 9:00 beginning times for strength & barre classes which are the primary classes I attend daily.
The front desk people are wonderful. The place is clean.
I like the peloton and group fitness plus the childcare
It's very clean.
Meeting needs of community in providing outdoor classes for those who either choose not to exercise indoors due to COVID warnings or can not due to pre existing conditions. Broad range of health and exercise options very appreciated
I like this facility because of its cleanness and very friendly team members. So far I only used the gym equipment and looking forward to explore more in the future. I have a few suggestions that I noticed.
1. The treadmills are setup facing one another and it's a little concerning if someone had COVID with out symptoms. It would be nice if there is a plexiglass or some of type of wall in between these treadmills to prevent spreading.
2. It would be very helpful to cool down quicker if there were fans in the looker room walls. Such fans exist in some locations including Cowart and Ed Isakson.
Thank you so much.
I really was getting into the yoga classes before the pandemic hit. I'm a high risk covid person so I have not been to the Y very often in the last 8 months.
The staff at the daycare center are very devoted and nurturing.
The quality of the classes have taken a dip, but are getting better since the Covid restrictions have caused limited capacity, as well as overall cycle and drills with equipment leading to a reduced level of intensity for my liking compared to pre Covid. I would like to see more TRX classes offered and use of the Viper.
yoga
Love that you've courageously stayed open. The classes are the best, but wish you'd open up enrollment in the ice rink; it can accomodate 3X the number of people currently allowed, and I can rarely get a class due to demand. keep up the good work though; love the facility.
I like the pilates, strength and interval classes as well as the elliptical machines and some weight machines. (probably I prefer to lift weights in a class format if my schedule allows because of the camraderie)
I love the gentle yoga, yin yoga classes with Michelle and Paula.
I participate in activities that I can do as a Senior.
When will you be able to join the national network?
I truly appreciate the variety of classes offered, the exceptional teaching staff, and the Y's commitment to safety.
Something for all ages. I especially like the 55+ program.
Perfect for the while family!
At the moment, having a clean and safe environment is most important. I like your approach and the separation given to the machines. As long as its not too crowded (which it hasnt been when I've been in on a Sunday afternoon) we're good.
Your website Covid pre-check-in fails on a computer but succeeds on my iPhone - I think there's a security issue that blocking it on the computer (cross site navigation error).
I like the idea of the "crowd meter" that Planet-Fitness are advertising - that might be something for you guys to consider too.
GOOD VARIETY
Enjoy 5:30am boot camp with Tara!

I like the yoga class and the variety of clean, well-maintained equipment.
