Cardio. Weight lifting and the sauna.
Functional Fitness is an amazing class. The instructor, Annabelle is very focused on each of us doing the movement correctly, she modifies for each depending on what we have going on. It’s a hard workout that varies each day. FF arrived in January and I’ve not seen a class attract so much attention. Once you try it you’re hooked. I applaud Annabelle for all she’s done for each of us with a range of abilities. I hope the Y can fill her shoes once she starts her journey in nursing school. They are HUGE shoes to fill. I also hope my comments do not go unnoticed.
Love the variety of classes! FANTASTIC instructors
The facilities itself and what the facility offers.
We like the friendly atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.
I love that each week they are trying something new and giving the kids a taste of a different activity. It has been great to give our daughter a test run of different sports to see if she would like to play before we commit to something.
My kids joined Northeast Cobb's Summer Camp for two weeks this summer. I was very pleased with the security precautions and ease of check-in and check-out. They both had an incredible experience and memories made. On one particular Friday afternoon, I had the opportunity of visiting and watching my kids perform cheer and basketball routines, as well as watch the awards ceremony for weekly awards. It brought so much joy to me to see the high energy level and the amount of support and love provided to the campers.
Love the variety of exercise classes, instructors and friendly staff!
Nice people, nice facility, clean.
Loved that there was beginner gymnastics. I took my kids and could workout. It was great! I hope you can keep the class going. And others like it. My girls would love a kids yoga. Thanks.
I enjoy your classes and Instructors
Would love more yoga,
Some hour long classes,
youth classes in the 6-11 year old range to come back when school starts. Would be awesome to have them at the same time as the evening classes. Even if it’s just one class a week.
Maybe I can get certified and help fill in some gaps…
Please for the love of all that is holy remove the carpet in the teen center/yoga/Pilates/sometimes spin room?
We use the weights and treadmill area more than any thing
The exercise classes are great!
I like the variety of options provided.
The facilities are great!
YMCA is so much more than just a gym.
We love being part of this branch. I am so happy to have my husband join in the Pickleball, functional fitness and gentle yoga. As for myself this Y is my second home
The staff is very knowlegeable and approachable.
Equipment and classes meet my needs.
To whim It May Concern,
I love everything about the Y in East Cobb. It has become my “ go to” gym after years of going to LA Fitness. I take advantage of Medicare RENEW program. I initially was drawn to the Y because of the ability to have access to the Peloton. And still love that having access to their bikes. Additionally, your instructors as well as all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Y offers a broad range of classes to meet all ages! And last but not least - it is always clean - very clean! I feel good when I walk in and great when I leave. Kudos to all involved!
wish you would remove the blue COVID tape from main studio, we are all over it & it's not needed. why is it still there? would like a response.
Swimming and weight training
Annabelle H is fabulous! Love her class!
I had really good experience in ynaca.
People are very nice friendly .
All programs are very good
Your programs seem to cover a lot of folks. I would like to see more at our individual Y's for that awkward age 12 to 15
Coach Approach, racquetball, friendly environment, great facilities and amenities, classes, multiple locations
The equipment is good, the people are friendly, and there is no loud music I didn't choose. Also, my wife enjoys the classes.
I love all the yoga classes.
I love that you have a great variety and number of classes that work with my schedule. I have found a couple of instructors who I absolutely love! The staff is very friendly, and the facility is nice and clean.
Great variety of classes and some very dedicated instructors.
However, we still need a true Stretch class on Saturday mornings. Not a regular Yoga class, but a Stretch class. like the one Michelle King used to teach. McCleskey offers 3 such classes, why can't the NE Y do the same?
Some very helpful staff members like Laura at the front desk and Suzie at the Wellness desk.
Something needs to be done about the Teen Center. It always smells bad in there and the carpet is dirty.
Finally, the Keurig coffee machine for chit chat after classes is a true joy.
Thank you.
