THIS class makes me sweat and stretch my abilities. It would be very beneficial if this class was held at least 3 times a week. Members would see and feel major differences in their physical bodies!
Darcel is amazing. THIS AOA class stretches me in ways that are impacting and needed/desired. THE members who participate in this class are STRONG!!!!
Stretch class has really helped my arthritis condition in my legs and knees .

I think all of the programs are run very well. I like the wide range of activities offered.
I enjoy using the treadmills and the weight machines. I wish there were more yoga classes or tai chi classes or Pilates classes.

The programs and activities at the Covington Family YMCA are top notch. They address needs in several areas from swimming lessons with highly trained swim coaches to providing day time summer camp sessions for kids. I highly recommend this location.
Love my Tai Chi class right along with the trainer he’s great! Love how he instructs with step by step instructions!
I love the classes I've taken so far!
Zumba on Mondays and Saturdays, and Yoga on Wednesday. Both LaToya and Karen are excellent, delightful instructors! The facilities are so clean, with so many different activities to do and every person I've interacted with has been kind and happy to be there. Super easy parking, too!
I’ve been an active member for the last couple of years but was a member years ago. I reopened my membership when I moved back to Covington. I don’t actively workout like I used to, but my family loves the pool in the summer time. My son has been doing the soccer program with the Y for a few years now. It’s probably both of our favorite activities. We met his current coach through swim and have made some everlasting friendships with the kids and parents on our team. To feel included and have the same families share common interests and aspirations is probably what I’ve loved the most. I look forward to watching my son grow with soccer through the Y for the years to come. We are also planning on trying basketball in the fall. We also love how involved the Y is with our community. The Y is definitely an extension of our family!

The Covington Georgia YMCA Staff is The Very Best of The Best since my Family have moved to Covington some 8 years and to be greeted with a welcoming smile by not only the Staff but also the Manager at 5:30 am is PRICELESS
I have been a proud member of the Covington YMCA for 20 years, and it truly feels like a second home to me. The staff here is absolutely amazing! They are consistently helpful, engaged, and genuinely kind.
What sets this branch apart is how they go above and beyond to cater to individual needs and requests. It makes such a difference that they always take the time to greet me by name; it shows how much they value their members. The variety in activity is invigorating! True. Something for everyone. As a senior reactivating a busy life, I found that the location of my Y and the fact that having a National membership allows me to visit local Ys when I visit friends and relatives in other states. I enjoy traveling to another state to visit with my new grandchild and expose then to the wonders and freedoms found at the local YMCA near them.
