I enjoy the Barre class with Marla. It would be nice if she can teach an earlier class on the weekdays. And we need the wooden bar installed in the upper class room.

Get the peloton bikes fixed correctly and replace the warped floor tiles in the back of the free weight area(tripping hazzard). The handles to adjust bike seats are $10 bucks and are bad on all three bikes. Been that way since Christmas. Matt has to use pliers to adjust them each time and apologize for things being in disrepair. You are competing against commercial gyms who have higher rents, pay taxes and are cheaper per month. Make it feel premium if you are charging premium. :-)

Enjoy great Tues/Thursday Hatha Yoga classes and Saturday Spin class! Also, enjoy visiting with friendly Y Staff and fellow Y members!

Dance classes
The classes are very good and so are the instructors. The hours of operation are convenient and so is the location . I'm not a big fan of the new equipment however. The abdominal machine is not to my liking. Doing a crunch like that is not good for your neck. Plus there used to be 2 abdominal machines. There also used to be 2 lat pull down machines.

Recently updated MagSafe friendly equipment
I've been to a number of YMCAs and found that the Cowart Family/Ashford Dunwoody YMCA is the best. The programs are plentiful, varied and meet the needs of the ages and stages of the community. The staff are professional, welcoming and supportive. The facility is spacious, clean and attractive. There is plenty of parking and the grounds are well maintained.
I would really like to see the Swimming App come back. Knowing a lane will be open when I get there in early morning is better than waiting around for a lane to open up.

Fitness, wellness and child programs
We only joined for a month for the lap swimming. Pool was beautiful, not at all crowded during off hours & all the staff was lovely!!

I only wish there’d be a clear policy regarding the volume of music played in certain classes posted. My Apple watch registers consistently over 100 dbs and up to 120 dbs in a few classes which I have stopped attending due to my diminished hearing and headaches after those classes. While most members may enjoy the very loud music, repeated exposing to such loud music over an entire class causes long term and permanent hearing damage and other health problems.
