good
The programs accommodate everyone in the family. We are very blessed to be a part of the “Y” family.
I’ve enjoyed the variety of exercise classes in the past. The Sugarloaf Y has great teachers/leaders.
I also enjoy the cardio machines, the circuit machines, free weight room, stretching room, and the pool. Many like the child care and the after school care and summer children’s camps, as well as the outdoor courts and indoor basketball courts.
I’ve enjoyed a couple of nutrition classes, as well.
Why don’t you come and see what the Y has for you?
I mostly use the weight room and bikes, but I’ll say that I always like the way that I feel when I am at the “Y”.
The programs offer a variety of ways to become engaged in well-being, fitness and fun!
Very Responsive to member requests
Well organized
I go to exercise, treadmill and bikes and weights!
I like the setting of the gym and the weight-lifting area. The machines are well placed but I wish they would open the area for abs training as well
I like doing water aerobics at the Y. But since the pandemic, it is very difficult to get a spot in the class. I liked being able to show up for class. Now it's a hassle to sign up to take a class. I've been shown how to download the Y app but haven't been successfully in doing it. Very frustrating.
I liked the variety in classes and hope to be able to resume to a more robust post-Covid schedule soon. I miss the childcare and parents' night out.
A lot of choices.
I enjoy using the facilities and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
So friendly and community oriented.
I wish there were more classes because it's hard to book classes. I usually just lift weights because of this
Cleanliness and my daughter enjoys the Centrr
My husband and I enjoy working out at such a friendly caring facility...
We just returned to the Y because of the pandemic, but we are very pleased with
the temperature check, clean , social distancing procedures that's been set in place.

You provide the ability to play pickleball and work out at the same facility. This is a great plus as i am not aware of any other providers that offer this combination.
I love coming to the Y for two reasons. First, I physically need the exercise. I'm at an age and stage of my life where I need to physically move. My Dr. wants me to get exercise so that I can do simple movements as I age. Second, I like the social aspect. The people at the Y, both the employees and members are like my family. I don't have any family in town. They have surrounded me with love. This June will be 10 years that I've been coming to the Y. I was broken and homeless when I started coming here. They've taught me about eating better and exercising. I've lost (and kept off) about 60 lbs. They've let me cry on their shoulders and have supported me in every way. I am forever grateful to the Y. They saved my life. Not being able to come so much last year because of the pandemic was difficult for me. I missed both the exercise and being able to visit with my "family". I'm starting to see some of the members come back and I am glad. Hopefully, conditions will continue to improve. I highly recommend the Y to everyone.
The hours and availability of of classes and equipment. Also, it is clean.
You have a very helpful and caring staff. Everything is clean. My only complaint is that your web site is part of the Atlanta area web site which is POORLY organized and hard to navigate through. I can't use the pool because we have to sign up 24 hours in advance and the Atlanta area web site is too difficult to understand how to do it.
Our own J.M. Tull YMCA is excellent. My coach Doug, in the weight room and exercise area is outstanding. He is knowledgeable and encouraging.
Big pool, still having some water classes, and hot tub.
I attend the morning pool exercise class. I throughly enjoy it, it is the only way I can exercise due to physical limitations.
I like the group exercise classes.
The pool is always clean and well maintained. The only constructive criticism is that members do not know how to use the website to record their swims for the 100 mile challenge. I’m at 15 miles for the year and the top 50 or so have recorded having 1000 miles plus for 2021. It would be nice if the leaderboard was cleaned up and some type of improvement made to how people record their swims.
The Y has been a huge outlet for me. I am able to sign my kids up for summer camp and other sport programs.
One thing I am missing is the sauna and steam room. Please bring back the sauna.
I like the variety of classes and I like that you are offering a good number of them now. I feel like I can get full value for my membership with the choices available. I am disappointed at the loss of gentle yoga on Friday because that is the only beginner yoga class that you have. Low attendance could be due to many factors during this time. Maybe one day when a full schedule can be implemented again, it could be brought back? All of the other yoga classes are more challenging than I am able to do, although I do adapt them to my needs. I am also disappointed at the lack of oversight on taking care of the cardio machines. I noticed the display on the rowing machine has almost been ruined by being sprayed. There is no reason to spray the display....the only thing that needs to be cleaned are the buttons that are touched. I'm sure this must apply to other equipment also. Some guidelines on proper cleaning would be helpful to avoid people just spraying everything on the machine.
Swimming at 5 am. Treadmills and weight machines. I feel like safety procedures with Covid are good.
The time allotted

I love that I can connect to the YMCA through online exercise classes. Also, the Reset Challenge was instrumental in getting me back into an exercise routine. I look forward to coming back to in person classes once I’ve had my COVID vaccinations.
