There’s something for everyone in the family at the Andrew Young YMCA/YWCA. I like that our Y prioritizes the needs of our surrounding communities. There’s a range of age groups and interests, and activities to keep everyone engaged. The culture of our Y is welcoming, cordial, and promotes exploration, and healthy competition.

This location is very clean, professional and friendly. I love coming to classes because of the great instruction and community! I especially enjoy classes taught by Alethia, Barry, Terrance, and China! Jerome and Deborah are great as well!
The facilities are improved and well maintained. My fitness coach is really good Mr Jerome Bailey, he keeps you motivated to keeping up my routine and keep me accountable.
Love the 10ft pool but it’s a little icky around that area. And most of my friends and neighbors have kids, so unfortunately for this location, I’d have to refer them to the villages at carver location for the play center. Otherwise, love the Y and this location is good enough….just can’t use it much unless my kid is in swim class.

The facility is always clean, the staff always accommodating and welcoming.
I love the Water Aerobics classes. The Y has some of the best instructors. I love the whole experience of the personal training that is offered.

Awesome staff, the steam room settings are excellent. Your dry sauna does a disservice to the community by not being set to the medically recommended temperature settings to provide the benefit of reducing heart attacks, strokes and other medical conditions as stated in the medical journals.
"Conclusions and Relevance Increased frequency of sauna bathing is associated with a reduced risk of SCD, CHD, CVD, and all-cause mortality. Further studies are warranted to establish the potential mechanism that links sauna bathing and cardiovascular health."

Love that water aerobics is here! A variety of programs here - that’s great. The updated facility and equipment is best of all!

I love the yoga class with Hazelyn. She creates an environment for us all to just be and breathe. Also, I like the spacious, clean and state-of-the-art weightroom...treadmills with technological features make exercising a joy!

The best thing for me it’s local, New freshly renovated facility have great potentials for various activities need to relate more Afrocentric values and activities such as African dance aromatherapies that are broad in universal that was spread through all cultures.
