I enjoy the Pickleball Community and the wide variety of exercise classes offered. There are programs and activities offered for every age and ability.
Always a good variety and up to date activities.
I think it’s a terrific Y, however, since Covid it seems to me that things need to be worked on, for example:
Free weight area is very dirty, take a close look at the free weight rack against the mirror, look at the grooves where the weights rest…it’s disgusting, it has not been well cleaned in a very long time.
The gentleman who walks around the weight area sweeping with a broom looks like he needs to get better training, he’s just moving the dust around not really cleaning.
Bring towels back to the Y! I imagine they went away during Covid, but now that Covid is over/diminished there is no reason to not bring the towels back.
Staff at the front desk are friendly, however, when I walk in there sure seem to be a lot of them doing nothing. Maybe they could be sent to other parts of the gym to do something.
Overall I like the Y a lot, but it is nowhere near what it was before Covid, in terms of cleanliness it could use a major cleaning and then hire the staff to keep it clean.
