A very friendly staff and instructors.
Activities for all age groups.
Pickleball program at ymca is the best I’ve come across (because yall have 2 hour child care and everyone who participates is so kind from beginners to experts).
I love all the new machines. So easy and safe to use. Thank you for the upgrade!
My kids are Obsessed with your kid pool and regular lap pools, especially having the shallower end free play section in the lap pool area for bigger kids.
Programs are great I just wish I could make one more regularly but… kids schedules are not easy to keep to make them on time. That’s on family life, not yall.
Either way. I recommend springs family ymca to everyone I meet who doesn’t have a membership already! 👍
Friendly and helpful staff, inspiring teachers ,
Easy to access with Silver Sneakers
The Springs YMCA offers a variety of activities for all ages. The only disadvantage to the current facility is that in the mornings it is very full and parking is limited. It seems we have outgrown the current facility.
Good treadmills that are kept in good condition. Pickleball will soon be important to me so keep plenty of courts and available times for pickleball please.
Well, rounded programs that are great for all age groups
Great variety..great teachers ....BUT
Very disappointed that the Y does not buy the needed equipment for the senior fit classes... Bands, weights etc ..We have needed more sturdy chairs for years and they have been promising to get them for us for many years.
Finally Annette talked to the Y and got permission to take up a donation . Members are buying the chairs and donating them to the Y. I donated money, because the chairs are needed, but this is not right .The Y could well afford to buy chairs for these classes around $700....Some of the chairs are not safe for seniors to be sitting in and getting up from. Members of the classes feel we are not valued members which is really unfortunate when the Y has so many seniors.
I really like the water exercise classes.
The people, the instructors the availability. Just wish there was more parking
Like the classes and friendly instructors
I would love to see more aerobic type classes throughout the day and not just mornings.
Cycling classes, group fitness classes
BODYPUMP and Les Mills Core
Love the Y!
Seniors programs are perfect for old folks
I attend the 8 am fitness classes and love them!
We love the indoor pool in the winter and the outdoor pool in the Summer
I love to see all the generations in a healthy, clean, friendly environment. I recently tried Aquafit and its do much fun!
Clean, colorful, and fresh building, great greeting staff, doable cardio classes. Annette and Penny are such fun and inspiring, but I never feel pressured in their classes. I have sampled Yoga and Aqua Fit and enjoyed them as well. My health has improved and Chloresterol level is down. My arthritis pain is diminished, and I simply feel better……..
By the way…..I’ll be 81 in September.
I am only acquainted with the swim lessons, so can't evaluate everything. My 7 year old grandson wanted to learn to swim this summer, so I brought him to the Y, where I could be certain his instruction would be professional and thorough. What I didn't know is how much fun he would have, and how proud he is of his accomplishments so far.
I love the pool. You have great treads with screens so you can run to cool scenery.
I like the variety of offerings
I enjoy the variety of classes.
The pools, the lifeguards, the front desk and the level of cleanliness are absolutely amazing.
The strength training machines and the Senior Strong classes.
Desk staff
Yoga
Outdoor pool environment in general
Love to come
Getting young people and children into programs
The aerobic classes keep my cardio vascular system healthy. The weight room addresses much needed muscle retention. The people support my need for social interaction. I'm a widow with no children and no family within a thousand miles. I NEED THE YMCA!
