Would go more frequently if the room were larger. The class is so large we all don’t fit.
Parking is not feasible any more. I am late for class unless I get there 30 min ahead of scheduled time.
Otherwise I like supporting the YMCAs.

Basketball court
We have been very pleased with swim lessons this summer. We were also members last summer, and had mixed experiences due to the inconsistency and quality of some of the instructors- but this summer has been much better. We’ve loved Peggy, Sami Jo, and Abby. Our kids have made so much progress in their swimming skills.
I also really appreciate the child watch teachers and how they engage with the kids. My 3 year old son was so excited to do a 4th of July craft while his sister was in swim class. Thank you!

I really appreciate the programs and activities for “seniors,” as these are the ones I use. The teachers are excellent and the classes beneficial! I also like, though, that SW Austin Y is a family Y. I love seeing children there, engaging in different activities. I am glad that there are programs for children’s with disabilities. I also like the setting; it is calming to see trees out the windows and children and families in the playground and pool when using the walking path.
Very affordable, and wonderful (and helpful!) staff! Clean facility, welcoming and full scope of offerings.

Great instructors who are very patient. I took Adult Lessons with Nick and he was amazing. The cost is also unbeatable!

I like the overall consistency in the lesson schedule year-round.
Most of the teachers are very attentive to detail and enthusiastic about their class.
It is convenient that the indoor pool can serve as a back up venue during inclement weather in the summer, so no need to reschedule or deal with lesson refunds.
The price for lessons (for members) is very reasonable— which is of tremendous value since I have four kids receiving instruction.
The presence of swim league as a tangible goal to to which to aspire and its availability for continuing growth and maintain swimming skills after exiting swim lessons.
