We love the SW Family Y's diversity, its supportive environment and the way we treat each other.
I mostly use the elliptical machine, treadmill and lap pool. I like that elliptical and treadmill are well maintained and available all the time.
The gym, the pool, the sauna, the classes, and good staff. It is also convenient and close to where I live.

The showers and exercise machines were clean and the facility appeared well managed. Appreciated my daughter was welcomed as a guest and because of her positive experience is now considering joining the Y with her family at their locations.
The instructors are friendly and well prepared and facilities are super clean and accessible.
HOWEVER, IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SCHEDULE CLASSES WITHOUT HAVING TO BE UP BEFORE 6:00 AM TO TRY TO BEAT THE OTHER MEMBERS TO A LIMITED SLOT 2 DAYS IN THE FUTURE. AND YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FOR EVERY CLASS EACH TIME YOU WANT TO ATTEND. SURELY THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY!!!
I don’t participate in any programs or schedule activities. I just like the location. Especially since the renovation. It’s consistently clean

I LOVE all the classes...BUT: right now I do not feel as safe as I did previously when you were taking the temperature of all who entered,andwhen more people were wearing masks. The other day I asked the teacher to provide ventilation by turning on the fan and she opted not to and I was the only one wearing a mask in that room and social distancing keep getting compromised. I would like you to make it safer for us --especially us elders. Thank you!

Water aerobics and pilates & yoga
Well rounded activities. Safe environment. I would like instructors to start and finish on time. Certain yoga classes and body pump on Thursday goes longer.

Convenient location and good selection of group exercise classes. Rebecca Berryman was warm and welcoming to her gentle yoga class. She did a great job of explaining the postures and breathing plus offered modification options.
It’s a great contrast to the more strenuous and challenging classes like Bodypump and BodyCombat. The Les Mills instructors at Southwest Y are the best: Gilbert, Lee, Betsy, Meghan. Nowhere else compares!

The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The indoor track is wonderful, especially in all this heat! The senior fitness classes sound really good, but we haven’t had a chance to go to any yet. It is an exceptional facility and my husband and myself look forward to going back.
We like the kid's swimming pool.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's clean and there's plenty for my young children to do this summer.
