I enjoy working out at the Southwest Family Branch YMCA because the facility is clean, no loud music, and "most" of the time people respect others working out. The staff have always been polite very helpful. Also, it is good to see the "special interns" helping at the facility. As a member of the Silver Sneakers health program, I am grateful of the YMCA affiliation.

There is a great variety of programs at all skill levels and times
Well organized and inclusive.
It’s a welcoming atmosphere with great instructors
Love the teachers for group fitness!
I have been a member for years, but haven't used the facilities until this summer. My kids have been active members all along and they love the Y. I like the range of classes depending on what I need to do to remain healthy. When I'm achy - restorative yoga does the trick. When I need cardio, I either use the treadmill or go to a class like Healthy for Life. When I want to do strength work, I go to BodyPump. I plan to try others, but have enjoyed most (not all...) the classes I've done this summer.
It was an amazing experience! :)
The instructors are inclusive, patient and always have compassion and empathy for neurodivergent children.
Eileen, the director, is amazing and so accommodating. Lacey, Kendra, and Paige have all been amazing instructors for my son.
Great lessons and teachers
Our swim instructor was amazing! She did such a great job with our kids and they loved working with her.
A really liked the engagement with the kids and small class size
Amazing instructors and community feel.
The swim class was a good introduction for my toddler. I also like the price. We also enjoyed the playground and outdoor pool after swim class.
Ms Linda was a great teacher. We did have a sub one time and the instructor did not seem to know the lesson. But other than that we loved the class. The classes were small enough to feel intimate and not overwhelming for the kids. The exercises were varied and helped our child be comfortable in the water.
We attended two months and enjoyed them. We did learn that the lessons do not progress too much more until the enter the next level at 3 years old. We were hoping for the lessons to get more challenging before then (such as putting face under water) as our child is only 2.5.

The family atmosphere it brings for the parents and children. The support from the coaches to the children and helping them feel accepted and successful in the sport.(very encouraging)
No practices, early morning games
I liked the coaching and the officiating. It was positive and instructive.
Getting kids the chance to try multiple sports for an affordable price.
My son has really enjoyed the soccer & basketball programs. The coaches have been great my son he looks forward to practice & his games.
Our coaches are just wonderful. The program is very well organized and the games are super fun. Cost is reasonable as well. We will keep coming back! Thank you for all you do!!!
Easy to access, friendly but not intrusive staff
Variety of classes, teachers and times. I like the swimming area and people are friendly
All kinds of classes to pick from
The pool is good

I regularly attend the classes and I love so many of the instructors! First name removed, Mary, Sabrina in particular are stellar! The quality of the instruction is outstanding and they’re so helpful in modifying up and down in intensity to make sure everyone gets a quality workout.
The equipment in the workout rooms meet the needs of the participants but I do wish the second barre was installed.
