I love the outdoor pool, which is about the only part of the facility I use. I used to use the exercise machines, but haven't since before the pandemic.
Unlike other exercise facilities, the Southwest YMCA has an indoor track, so useful for the hot months.

The variety of offerings
1.Heated Outdoor lap pool, separate from outdoor family pool to accommodate people with different goals and fun
2. Varied pograms that are aimed toward kids, fit adults, and seniors/individuals with mobility issues.
I love the family friendly atmosphere. The staff is amazing and the group exercise instructors are the best. The outside pool is well maintained.
Great pool. Very convenient location. I have not tried anything other than the outdoor pool, but I hope to try some of your classes and the weight room in the future.
Group sr workouts
I love the outdoor pool! Thank you for keeping it beautiful and functional. I will start using the gym facilities soon and look very forward to that because it looks great. Your front desk staff is always friendly and fun to interact with.
Exercise equipment
I like the variety and types of exercise programs offered. There is always some class I can take every day if I want to. I also like that there are many seniors taking classes too and the instructors tailor their classes to accommodate any fitness level and always show modifications. Everyone is welcome in the classes.
I haven't participated in any ongoing programs or activities. I did work with a trainer and may do that and start using the weight machines again.

Southwest YMCA has a marvelous feel of community. Any time you go there, you will see people of all ages, fitness levels, and there is a wide variety of things to choose to do there. Classes are wonderful - great teachers and the other participants are friendly & encouraging. Staff are quick to greet you & ask if you need help. Facility is clean. Overall vibe is perfect for families and neighbors. Love ❤️
