Children's programs
You have a terrific staff. I never really liked exercising, but going to the Runberg Y is a pleasure. Thanks to the positive environment, I'm getting into the best shape I have ever been. And, perhaps because the gym is so well run, it helps the customers relax, focus, and behave respectfully to one another. Thank you for helping us all become healthier, happier people.
Like the tai chi and Travis. He was friendly and introduced himself to me. Tried a yoga class with Erin and the total opposite. She didnt introduce herself or ask if anyone was new to yoga. Turn off. Rooms are way too cold but will try tai chi once more.
The instructors are excellent, the entire staff is friendly, courteous and always willing to help and answer questions. The people that attend the classes are very friendly. I have made many friends since I started classes there. It’s a joy to go to class because there will be people there that will be happy to see me. When someone is absent we notice and wait for next class hoping the person will return. If they are absent several days, someone will know how to get in touch with them to make sure they are ok. This Y is like a whole group of people that like and care for each other. It’s FUN
The aqua program instructors are awesome. They are encouraging, quite competent and personable. They welcome new participants. The pool and facilities are clean and large enough to accommodate all that want to participate. My experience has been excellent.
I like the lap pool swimming and the exercise classes
It's great but you need more treadmills at the north Austin location.
Location works for me. Erin is a fantastic yoga teacher, one of the best in Austin. I attend her 9:30 class every time I can. Thank you, Erin!

I swim at the Y several times a week. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I’m a big fan of the North Austin Y!!

The North Austin YMCA is very responsive to our needs and requests. I love that about them. They are always willing to look into new times and new classes. We have a great group of life guards and class teachers for aqua fit, senior fit, and chair yoga. The people at the Welcome desk are friendly. Jenny does a wonderful job with the Active Older Adults program. Kinny is a great leader. The Y is lucky to have him.
Good instructors, clean facility and friendly staff
Thank you for not kicking everyone out of the instructional pool when there are lessons going on for one or tow kids. I enjoy giving my grandsons experience swimming, without having to move to the cooler water of the lap pool.

I like the weight lifting areas of the gym. We do need more benches though--there are only two and often the weight area is busy. Thanks!

We love our North Austin YMCA! We have such a strong community. Staff and instructors who truly care for us. And we care for them.👏👏❤️❤️
I mostly use the exercise equipment but I've taken some classes and they were great. I've lost 14 lbs since I started 3 years ago and have been able to maintain it. The Y is a great organization and my location does a lot for the community.
Coach has an excellent rapport with the kids. My son is excited about coming to class. Front desk staff is very friendly and kind.
We loved AC who trained us on the machines for 3 months!!
