Our Mathnasium tutor, Neel, is great! He really helps my daughter by giving her the one-on-one attention and patient instruction that she needs to feel more confident about math. She is always glad to work with him--she never argues or says "Do I have to?" about attending the sessions. We had the opportunity to work with a "sub" once (because we needed to change our day/time and they graciously accommodated us) and she was an excellent tutor, too.

I really like the convenience of the virtual visits. For many years, I drove my kids to tutoring sessions, sat there, etc. This way is so much better and the technology allows for forwarding assignments ahead of time, screen sharing, etc. so that the instruction is just as effective as in-person tutoring.

Behind the scenes "administration" is great, too. Brad always answers my emails in a very timely manner and is really helpful and pleasant. He makes the whole process very easy and convenient.

Mathnasium offers an individualized learning plan for each student, tailored to their unique objectives or needs. My daughter is making consistent progress, enjoys the teaching approach and asked me why we didn’t enroll her sooner.

Brad is both honest and encouraging in his feedback about his student's progress. My son struggles mightily in foundational math concepts and suffers from severe ADHD. Over the years, we have researched tons of programs that advertise a "quick fix" or sugar coat things. I found Mathnasium to be exactly as advertised. It is tailored to my son's math level with new strategies that he does repetitively until he comes to a "mastery check." The repetitive nature of using newly taught strategies has been successful in his carryover of these strategies into his work at school and when he is problem solving a real life application such as trying to figure out how many hours it is until a friend's birthday party or adding double digit numbers quickly in his head. Prior to mathnasium everything would "go in one ear and out the other" and there was no carryover of what he learned.

Mathnasium has been amazing for our 9 year old son. During remote schooling, he fell behind in Math, and in less than a year, he is now advanced based on the latest Ohio state testing results. I also like that he does math problems with old fashioned pencil and paper--especially since there are a lot more math software programs out there. I think using simple paper and pencil helps him understand the concepts better, plus the instruction is excellent. I highly recommend Mathnasium to our friends.

Mathnasium has been an absolute blessing to our fsmily. My son is an advanced math student. During the pandemic, Mathnasium allowed my son to work at the correct level and at his own pace to continue to grow on his math journey. Mathnasium was my son's primary math instruction while his school created a program to meet his math needs. I am very grateful for my son's experience with Mathnasium. He enjoyed it so much that he continued working Mathnasium most of the summer.

Both of my daughters look forward to their sessions and come home saying how fun math is. I like that sessions are easy to schedule and that you have a choice of in-center or onlin. And the first year my oldest daughter, who did Mathnasium two summers ago, did the sessions, she did the best she’s ever done on her standardized tests at the beginning of school.

Our daughter enjoys working with the tutors and we like the flexibility of being able to have her work online or take her to Mathnasium.
