Some background – My husband and I have been married for almost 60 years (so obviously we’re “senior citizens”), raised 3 sons, have 7 grandchildren, and 2 greats. After all these years we finally admitted we needed help with the household cleaning, if we are going to stay in our home. Wanting a reliable service, bonded and insured, and someone who would bring their own supplies, I called Merry Maids. I’m very glad I did.

My first contact, Karen Garner, was great PR for your company. She was so cheerful, helpful, and patient, answering all my questions. I probably called six times, and her attitude never changed.

Vilma and Edith came last Monday to do the deep cleaning (which we really, really needed). They too are great PR for your company. They were very polite, and got to work immediately. I was also impressed by their appearance, very neat. We left the house, and went to breakfast, to let them do their work – it was great having breakfast out while some else cleaned my house. They did a super job.

When I walked in to the house, it was cleaned better than I could have done, and I am pretty picky! All surfaces floor, counters, cabinets, furniture seemed to sparkle, and no strong chemical smells at all. Since I had rotator cuff surgery and was in a sling for 6 weeks, my home really needed a good cleaning, and now that i am really still out of commission for a while i am happy to continue with an every other week clean up.

Great vacuum cleaner

It was very thorough. My apartment was not this clean when I moved in. The chrome on the bathtub is like brand new....with no scratches. Everything was cleaned, even doorknobs. They did such a good job that I was overcome with joy when I came home. They straightened up some clutter, cleaning every inch of my apartment. They are fabulous!
