Very friendly and compassionate staff

I like that everyone at the job is friendly and nice. I also love the clients that I’ve worked with so far, I love to listen to their stories even if I’ve heard them over and over. I love that I can pick days and hours, and that they are available also in the summer. As a little girl I always had a love for my great grandparents and grandparents and always wanted to be with them. I never understood why they were in nursing homes if my parents were home. As I got older I told myself I wouldn’t ever put my parents in nursing homes. The love I have for seniors always stayed with me and I’m always helping them whenever I can.

The flexibility

I enjoy caring for senior citizens in their homes, helping with cooking meals, cleaning their living areas, and participating in memory activity and chair exercises, when possible, to safely maintain their level of being able to remain in their homes. I assist with bathing and dressing and grooming, as needed; and observe them properly taking their medications as ordered by their health care provider physicians.

A flexible hours

The staff always available and helpful and flexibility is schedule. Really a pleasure working here.

I like that I'm able to work as much or as little hours as I choose. It's a rewarding field of work. I make my clients feel loved, like they're MY family. It makes me feel good to hear my client say, when I'm about to go home, " I wish you didnt have to go", and the phone calls when I'm not working, just to say, "I was thinking about you". It melts my heart. I have an elderly mother whom I can't visit since the pandemic started, and one of my clients fills that "void".

I enjoy the energy and kindness of the staff. As well as their thorough training and good communication. The job of a Caregiver is very rewarding. It is a joy to be able to help people and fill their needs. I also appreciate the staff's flexibility in working with me and my unique schedule.

Senior helpers care very well about their workers. They provide supplies and all to make sure that their workers will not struggle. Every time you call Senior helpers office, you hear friendly and nice encouraging voice. The people in senior helpers office have very good personality.

Everything is fine

I like caring for my senior clients. Cooking for them, assisting with showers and lotion to clients skin, assist with dressing ( as needed), reminding them to take their routine medications, assist with laundry and household duties, so their homes are clean and comfortable. Also, with one client, I play card games for mental stimulation, another I do coaching reminders while she uses colored pencils to complete coloring books, another client I play bingo and scrabble games to keep her mind challenged. We enjoy our time together and we discuss current events on the news and weather.
