Very professional staff: my questions are answered right away. A lot of communication from the staff. The staff is very understanding of kids' and families schedules. My son loves attending Mathnasium: he feels very comfortable and well supported. I often have to wait for him because he is so engaged in what he is working on which is such a great sign. Mathnasium has been teaching him topics that his school has not or does not cover which makes me happy because it is making him look at Math and numbers in a diverse way which will help him in the long run when he has to sit for standardized testing. Our first six months were a struggle and progress was really slow. My daughter was in fourth grade but at a second grade level. Her confidence slowly improved and she caught up to grade level after about a year of Mathnasium. Once she had the confidence and wanted to go to Mathnasium, she improved quicker. I recommend to others but also give the caveat that the child needs to want to go to the sessions. During our first six months, she often did not want to go and that showed in her slow progress. Student buy-in is key to success.

Love the staff: owner, manager, math coaches. Such a positive, fun, welcoming environment. Very clean, organized, and following all of the public health measures. We are lucky to have this business in Carlsbad for our kids!
