Sylvan is not just for kids who are struggling with the material/subjects. My son has learned many new skills for studying (any subject). In addition he gets a sense of community within the Sylvan team and other students who attend at the same time.

I'm more than capable of helping my son study or with homework, but he like the different perspective. Additionally, I think it sinks in more if it is not "mom" imparting the information. So I encourage folks who are thinking "I can do this myself at home" to consider Sylvan a great option. Yes, I CAN do this at home, but the team at Sylvan is not just support for my son, they are support for me as a parent in making sure I'm getting him the best help from both Sylvan and myself.

We've had two kids with you so far, and you've adapted to their individual needs and learning styles and their social idiosyncrasies.

Very pleased with my granddaughter’s experience at Sylvan. She has more confidence in herself and tested better in math after only a few months. The teachers and staff are amazing. They are all very concerned about the kids and families and are always upbeat and welcoming when she is there. She loves going to Sylvan. So do I!

I’m really impressed by our first experience with Sylvan. My daughter attended a STEM Saturday and can’t wait to go back! Was a good use of her time and well worth the nominal registration. She’ll be back for more!

My daughter loved working with her tutor.

Unfortunately though, when she had to share her tutor the second hour, did not get her work done because she didn’t want to interrupt others he was working with.

I would have to make sure next time it’s one on one for her, extremely shy.

Sylvan of Mentor is a great place to seek assistance with academic enhancement ( help ) in any subject area. The owners and directors are friendly, sincere in their willingness to work with you on providing a tutor to fit your schedule and very flexible working out time slots that will accommodate the person needing assistance. The tutors are knowledgeable and project a caring and patient disposition when working with the people they are tutoring.

Very pleased with care and concern for my granddaughter’s help with math. She is more confident and not as afraid to try. She loves going to Sylvan and seeing other kids there who also need help.
