I will admit I was skeptical at first as was my daughter however this has turned out to be one of the best experiences in learning she has ever had. Her words are they make learning fun and I’m able to understand it better.

This place saved my life as a little girl and now I have my son there it happing him just as much it beyond great a little to much money to be honest so we can no longer put him in there so it really isn’t for people who are poor watch is not fair but life not fair I guess but I’d still tell everyone to go for sure

We have been utilizing our local Sylvan location for assistance in keeping our son engaged and ready for starting second grade this Fall. Everyone is very friendly that we have interacted with and our son always has something good to say after his sessions. I recently had a progress meeting with the Mentor location's director, Lorie, and it is very empowering to be so involved in our child's education and to really understand where he is. Lorie and her staff are extremely friendly and our son really loves everyone.

Sylvan is amazing - the associates are caring, efficient, hands on & knowledgeable. I've sent my child back & forth throughout the years (only because he wouldn't apply himself), but they welcome him with open arms & they too never gave up on him. You can bring a horse to water, you can't make them drink. This year his Tudor has made a difference to him, his learning & his wanting attend & learn. The staff is impeccable. At this point I can't comment on the curriculum since he never completed anything, but the last couple month I've seen a tremendous difference in his approach to learning, wanting to go to Sylvan and wanting advancement for himself. I started him in 4th grade, he is now in 11th. This took years of back-forth & people never giving up on him - this says a lot!

My daughter is comfortable learning in Sylvan classroom! She has gain confidence in learning! Her attention span and focusing has improved with just a few kids in class with less distractions! Sylvan has been great explaining areas of difficulty in learning for her! I highly recommend them as a learning experience!

Lorie did a great job of working with us to help our son try and get him to where he needed to be with his test preparation. We are still waiting to see those results but we're hopeful we see the improvement in those scores.

Services meet each student’s individual needs whether he or she needs to catch up, stay on track, or work ahead.
Each student receives one-on-one attention which helps to increase confidence as he or she can ask questions and the teacher can connect learning to what the student knows.

Even though my daughter is only been coming forna month she is happy that she is learning more in her Math.

Since my child has started with Sylvan, about 2 months ago, I’ve noticed a big difference in his confidence. He used to score 1 and 2 on assignments and is now getting 3s. His frustration is less and is being replaced with pride. I’ve also gotten feedback from his teacher and she has been recognizing changes in him too. I’d highly recommend Sylvan to others.

My son has been tutored at Sylvan for a year and a half and his reading skills have consistently been at a level 6 months ahead of his peers /grade level.

you have been very accommodating and helpful with getting started and scheduling classes.

How the associates care. Kids/teenagers are open minded and enjoy being there. Teachers are kind, patient and really know how to work with the individuals needs. It begins where they (children) left off and provides the children with a sense of accomplishment, understanding and hope. I sent my son there & I didn't see immediate results, thus taking him out. Couple years past & I saw him struggling even more. I wish I would have had the patients to let the program work. It didn't happen overnight and results won't either. You have to allow this program time and your child. If you allow this, you will see results. My son was getting a 52% in math, in a matter of 2-months he went to a 76%. I'm very proud of the staff & my son for sticking to it and allowing the process to happen.
