Due to distance learning ,the exposure to the teacher has been limited. This is the best alternative to get the math basics in to my daughter. . Hyper kid who doesn’t seem to sit down, wasn’t sure what she was taking in from her short distance learning sessions. Lucy is to our rescue and my daughter enjoys her sessions. It is challenging to teach someone using all the tools. Once she did a few sessions , she waits for her next session . As a parent since I am not trained to teach it was challenging to teach and work . Andre set up the session immediately on request ,my daughter is having fun with math thanks to Andre and Lucy.

Mathnasium supported my daughter growth her confidence in her math skills. In a matter of weeks, she raised her math grade from a "D" to a "B." Mathnasium has been invaluable, especially as an additional support during Distance Learning.

Mathnasium is great! My daughter was never excited about math until she started with Mathnasium over a year ago. It is so nice to see that she is no longer scared of math and she has confidence in her math skills. The Mathnasium method makes it easy for the kids to understand. The tutors are kid friendly and so patient. For Halloween, my daughter likes to dress up as strong historical women characters. This year she picked Hypathia, one of the first women mathematicians in ancient Greece. That would never have happened before Mathnasium. She now see's herself as a mathematician. Your initial thoughts may be that mathnasium is a little more expensive than other avenues but it is definitely worth it. The methodology, the tutors, Andre Bertrand, the owner, all makes it well worth your investment in your child(ren).

Its been a great experience so far. My only issue is I can't work out how to go to the sessions that I have booked incase I need to change the time. Can you advise please?

It's a great program. My kids have really improved their math skills since they started the program.

The girls love having the 1-on-one feedback, and we feel great about having a solid challenge, particularly during virtual learning. We can't wait until we can go in person. Lucy is particularly excited about earning stars and prizes. They also like discussing the concepts - halves, rounding.

We love how Andre really cares about subtly letting the parents know about what's going on while respecting kids privacy.

Our daughter didn't like maths, but since she's been catching up with Mathnasium, she just gets A grades constantly (she's in 10th grade now, started in 8th grade).
She now really enjoys attending Mathnasium classes, and the tutors are really nice and helpful.

Mathnasium was super reactive in putting the remote sessions in place which helped a lot keeping a working pace at the beginning of the shelter in place

Crucial! Having Mathnasium in our tool chest during the shelter in place/distance learning has been a life saver. They quickly converted to an online platform, and were gracious and patient as my daughter became used to the new style of tutoring. They are timely with their communication, understanding and respectful no matter what the topic as we all are learning this new way of being :)

We are loving Mathnasium and are impressed with each of the instructors. They are personable, intelligent, and attentive. Andre runs an excellent program and has high standards for his centers. Adapting to an online curriculum due to Covid could not have been easy, but it is working well. Our children work hard and they don’t ever complain about their tutoring sessions. They enjoy it!

The owner is a genuinely nice man and the tutors our wonderful. I took my son there for a couple months but then took him out because of other after school care conflicts. A year later my son went back because 4th grade math was getting more difficult (and I know it won’t get any easier). After a couple of weeks we really saw an improvement in his math, and although they don’t tutor in other subjects, my son has done better overall due to less time being spent on math. Since school has been closed due to SIP and tutoring is being done online, we’ve been able to see how the tutors teach more. We are so impressed by their patience and teaching skills.

It’s a really good place for kids to learn math thanks

My daughter went to Mathnasium at the start of 3rd grade. She was not confident in her math skills whatsoever. Also, she has math anxiety. Mathnasium strengthened her basic math skills so she could tackle math problems presented to her. Also, they gave her tools to tackle the math problems to ease her anxiety. Presently, we had to move out of town but she brings the knowledge of what was taught in the center with her. She misses her tutors very much. With the shelter in place regulations we are doing Khan Academy for math class. She uses her Mathnasium skills during her classes with hardly any help from me. Her anxiety has lessened since she has confidence in her math abilities. Thank you Andre and Hilde's Tutors. You guys made a great difference in her academic life.

Andre and his team of tutors are very dedicated to every kid learning and take the time necessary to connect. My daughter has grown a lot since starting with Mathnasium and enjoys their support a lot. They make learning fun.

My child learned more and was more positive after 3 weeks (2x weekly) of going than our private tutoring we used last year.

The pace, structure, and instructors and classroom like environment really worked for him. and he's usually the one that has trouble staying on task!

Andre was very patient and thoroughly explained the process and assessment outcomes to us. My child was reluctant to go initially, but has enjoyed her experience so far and has stated that math now feels "fun" and likes her instructors (Willy was especially helpful).
