My daughter went over the course of the first few weeks from being NOT happy about this, to looking forward to going. Mathnasium has taken the pressure off her to do math and learn at a pace that works for her. I also really appreciate Andre’s ability to kindly, patiently listen and give great and thoughtful advice - it made me feel confident as a parent that my concerns around my daughter’s math performance in school were being heard and could be addressed.

Our sons were not very interested in (or proficient at) mathematics before being introduced to the program at Mathnasium. Now they are excited about math and learning the skills they need. If they have to miss a day of Mathnasium, they get upset. If they could spend more time at Mathnasium, they would!

Hi, my daughter Emily has really enjoyed her math sessions. She asked (on her own) to go again tonight to help her prep for her 4th grade trimester test tomorrow. Mathnasium in Albany is a bright spot in our efforts to help her with math (confidence, repetition, deeper understanding of the fundamentals). She enjoys interacting with the different tutors, which also serve as role models. It has been great.

Our daughter who was struggling in math at school, has blossomed into a successful math student. She is getting A’s on her math tests, but more importantly comes home proud and confident! Finally she says she is “good at math.” She looks forward to going to mathnasium every week. She likes explaining concepts to us at the dinner table!

Because of the supportive environment surrounded by other kids at all levels who are also practicing math skills, our daughter does not feel singled out, and she enjoys the community. The hand picked teachers are excellent! Many of them are young college students who can engage with kids at their level, make them feel comfortable and explain concepts with patience in a way kids can understand.

We love this school and our daughter will certainly continue attending!
