Sylvan of Glendale truly cares about my child. Their knowledge of teaching and nurturing spirits have helped my dyslexic daughter learn to read. I felt like a failure “why couldn’t I help my child read”. School wasn’t getting any results either, but within just a few months at Sylvan of Glendale she was reading. Her growth has never stopped. The more she goes the more she grows. The idea that my child will be a fully independent reader is no longer just a dream but a real goal thanks to Sylvan of Glendale.
The system is very organized and it makes it so that the children get excited about learning and doing the work. very supportive staff.
Staff was caring and polite and my son really was able to improve throughout the course of the tutoring. Even though he didn't particularly enjoy spending all summer in tutoring, he had positive things to say about the tutors and staff at the 83rd/Union Hills location. Prior to enrolling at Sylvan, I read multiple reviews for other centers and Sylvan was by far the best. Once at the center, the staff explained that they take a much more hands-on approach which helps their students succeed and fill in "holes" to prepare them for the future.
