I love the one-on-one time my child is getting at Sylvan. I have seen a difference in her reading and her confidence. I love Sylvan also because in traditional school it has been my experience that either your child passes the standardize testing or they fail. With Sylvan, I am confident that the skills that my child may have not mastered for the standardized testing that she still has an opportunity to master those skills.
When you walk into the center it’s very inviting, the instructors are always very nice and polite and the facility is very well-kept. My grandson always enter the facility with ease and confidence and when leaving he always have a smile on his face. Now that he is attending the center he’s more open to conversations and interactions with other people. His self esteem and confidence is on a higher level and has greatly improved.

Our son started the writing program and hated writing. While he may still prefer to talk to people over writing things, he's increased from taking 20 minutes to write 1 sentence. He now can write 5 sentences in the same 20 minutes. He really enjoys the teachers Sylvan has and we're seeing great improvement in school work.
For the first time my daughter is excited about learning. I can see her confidence in reading has grown in the short time since she’s been attending Sylvan. I can’t wait to see how much she’s going to grow in the next few months.

Whether it's help with homework, preparing for SAT, working with building confidence, or working one on one with the students with Math or ELA. Sylvan has the professional help to meet the needs for students to succeed.
1. I love how the Sylvan coordinators take serious efforts in developing a plans that works best for my children.
2. I love how the Sylvan staff is flexible in making adjustments to make the sessions effective and time used wisely.
3. I love the monthly parent conference meeting to review their progress and remind me of services that we can take advantage of if we are not currently using it. For example, the online Algaebra Edge supplemental practice site, upcoming deals, and new seasonal programs.
4. I love the staff was willing to place my child with the tutors they enjoyed the most as often as they could.
5. I love the tangible incentives/prizes they offer for accomplishments.
6. Love the clean environment and that the door is locked to where the students are.
7. I love that i can see my kids as they are being tutored. I don't have to worry about pedifiles.
8. I also like how they have "student of the month" to keep the kids encouraged.
9. Love that they start and end on time. It is RARE that they go over on time. Usually only about 2-3 minutes.
