We love Katherine. She has been our go to person for cutting my sensory sensitive child for 6 years, and occassionally my own. She is receptive to both what I would like and also what my child would like feom their haircut. I especially enjoy that she takes the time to explain what she is doing so he isn't surprised and is involved in the process. She is quick and efficient, but also is detail oriented so she makes sure we are completely satisfied with our service. She is also great at explaining products you carry that would work best on my child. My son use to hate haircut days, it was an epic meltdown, but now he looks forward to it!

My grandchildren always receive wonderful hair cuts from Mary and Maria. These women are professional and do amazing jobs, but they are also kind and considerate to children. They talk with them and are interested in their conversations. It is very refreshing to receive customer satisfaction while paying for a service.
The products smell nice and leave the kids hair shiny and tangle free. The shop is also very clean and tidy.
I will bring them to Pig Tails and Crew Cuts until they grow up.

Great customer service. The way you take care of children is amazing. You make sure they are comfortable you explain everything. Very easy to make an appointment inline and the communication before our appointment is great. Each time I go I am never disappointed.

The ladies here were WONDERFUL! They were quick, but smooth in knowing how to move with an anxious kid. I commend them for getting his hair straight & perfect even with all his moving! That takes skill and patience.

Great stylists
Lake Nona seems to be the best Pigtails in Orlando, but it’s disappointing how inconsistent the haircuts are in every Pigtails. I get the same exact haircut for my son since he was 1. I say it the same way every time. 1.5 guard on sides, a low blend and an inch only on top. The lady we went to last did it the best of them all, but left a rat tail (not as long but definitely raised than the 1.5) like in the back which I’m assuming it was because the clipper wasn’t completely flat when she was cutting the back bottom part of his hair and I didn’t notice until we got home when I fully examined it. My son is 5 and stays completely still for these haircuts too. It wasn’t a huge deal to be honest, but these haircuts are expensive. With tip I pay almost $40 and it’s money I worked hard for. I feel like everyone should learn how to blend correctly. The lady at Lake Nona did an amazing job at blending (she used thinning shears) and it overall looked so good! She knew my son had curly hair and knew how to work it. I understand this isn’t a barber shop (I’m not asking for a fade, or an edge up at all) but the last location we went to in Winter Park the lady barely blended his hair and he looked like the guy for peaky blinders, which is contradicting because that guy is definitely cool, but inconsistent overall.
