Service and the environment for children
Pigtails and Crewcuts is super kid friendly. I love that the hair cutting chairs are set up as little cars and that there is a train table for the children to play with while waiting. AJ was our stylist and he was very kind and patient with our boys and did a wonderful job!

We will continue to use Katherine for as long as my son is getting hair cuts! We have seen her a few times and my son loves her, he sits for her and she does a great job at cutting his curls! She is amazing!

Ms Charlene has always been very patient with my son and very good with him. He cried the first couple times his hair was done but has now gotten to the point where he’s smiling and happy the entire time now. He always looks great when he leaves.There is a large play area for the children to play before their turn so that they don’t get anxious while waiting. Highly recommended.

Ms. Doris Was amazing and super nice and patient with my son. He has a lot of sensory issues and is very finicky about how things are done. She gave him a great cut, took each of his requests into consideration and she even cut his hair while he was standing. She was soo patient and I greatly appreciated it. I’ve had experiences where people get annoyed with him and frustrated before and she didn’t do any of that. She was great.
Y’all rescued my poor baby’s bangs after I tried to trim them and she wiggled. Thank you for easing the pain and fixing my big mistake!!

From the moment we walked in, everything was spotless and inviting, so clean and well-organized, it instantly felt like a place we could trust. The service was outstanding. Our stylist was incredibly attentive to my son, truly listening to his needs and making sure he felt comfortable every step of the way. They were open-minded, patient, and so kind, it’s clear they genuinely care about kids and making it a positive experience.
The attention to detail and the level of care was top-notch. It's such a welcoming and fun environment for children, but honestly, it’s a great spot for adults, too! I can’t recommend Pigtails and Crewcuts enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Pigtails and Crewcuts is the only child focused salon near me. We drive 1 hour from Hallsville to cut my boys hair after a haircut in a regular barber shop nicked my son’s ear making him afraid of haircuts for the next year.

There’s no one I would take my son to other than our Girl Miss Alley! She has cut his hair since day one and I am definitely best with the best! She has the best understanding with the kids and is so patient! :) my 4yr old son no literally can’t wait until the next visit, that shows how much of an impression she gave my son :) we love her so much even dad started wanting to get his hair cut with his son. She get the job done everytime and we love it! Couldn’t recommend her enough
