From the moment we started coming to the Y, I was so touched by the family centered approach to embracing a healthy lifestyle. I have been a member of other “boutique” gyms in the past, and while I personally got a great workout, the idea of family fitness and celebrating each individual for their capable, strong selves was missing. I have never seen my daughter smile wider, or take to fitness with such excitement than in the weekly Body Attack class she takes with me. Melinda Danowitz and Liz McLaughlin not only welcomed us in, they made a point of providing my daughter with opportunities to shine and be proud every.single.class. I cannot thank them, and the Y enough for being so powerful and kind 🤍ps- please pass this along to them. they deserve every bit of recognition that can come their way 🙂

I took my kids to the outdoor pool which is great. The lifeguards were some of the best I've seen, really paying attention!
EGYM very helpful for “beginners” itching to get back to decent toning levels.

Kate, the arts & crafts/activities coordinator is FANTASIC. So pleasant and friendly. My kids are always looking forward to hanging out with her and doing crafts.
The whole life guard team is great as well. Coming from the Lionville pool last year to the West Chester pool this year the West Chester guards are a 'breath of fresh air'.
Having food trucks on site is a huge benefit as well.
Looking forward to many more years of the West Chester YMCA with my family.

It’s VERY comfortable at the Y. The people who work there make you feel like family. There is always something to do there. I love that place❣️
