I love the outdoor 50 meter pool! It is heaven on earth and having it open in April/May and Sept/Oct is just wonderful.

I appreciate the variety of classes, instructors and times. Being able to participate in 3 or 4 classes each week, I have made several friends and look forward to getting healthy exercise and fellowship.

What do you like about your membership?

The facility is very clean and organized. Staff is always available and they monitor all spaces of the Y. I like that. It gives a great feeling of security and engagement.

I like the variety and options that the YMCA offers. For the price, the facilities and the variety of options offered really is a great place for a family to have a membership.

What do you like about your membership?

The YMCA is one of the most important parts of my life. It definitely contributes to the improvement of my physical, mental, and spiritual health. It also is great place to develop social connections too. It is a key factor in my overall well-being. It is a highly constructive, positive evironment that develops high character. I really, really have enjoyed my membership for many years. I can't thank the YMCA enough for all of the growth and improvement I have experienced since becoming a member.

What do you like about your membership?

The proximity to my home. Also like the people and staff. However, need to consult us- patrons- more when internal changes to equipment, etc. are made.

At times, I feel changes are done with little thought going into them. Also, the weekly close in the fall needs to be changed to a few days at most. That is quite inconvenient.

What do you like about your membership?

My daughter attends the daycare associated with the Y and has the ability to take classes at the Y while she is in daycare which is wonderful. I also work from home and I have now been able to build a new "office" of friendly faces while taking exercise classes every day. All of the instructors are wonderful and it forces me to get out of the house everyday.

The Child Watch program makes it much easier for my husband and I to reach our fitness goals, and with two under two, we are so thankful for Parents' Night Out. And our toddler loves her swimming lessons!

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Jonathon and the staff at UMLY were terrific. Our were completely committed to the success off the program. We really enjoyed our Fall soccer league. As the coach for team Real Madrid, I wish we had more players, but that's out of our control!

What do you like about your membership?

The UMLY YMCA and Greater Brandywine Association have worked very hard over the last years to enhance and improve the infrastructure at UMLY. The recent air improvements to the B Pool are amazing and the rebuilt A pool serves a wider range of members than we previously possible. The Swim Team Coaches are working hard to include and focus on all swimmers of all abilities. I notice these efforts and am very appreciative and impressed! Thanks for all you do!!!!
