We had a great time in youth soccer this year. This was the perfect balance of commitment and fun! My son swims for umly all year round so we wanted to add some soccer bc he loves it too. The price and convenience of the Y made it possible to do both.
We were so impressed and happy with our preschool soccer. It was so much more organized than it was about 5 years ago. Jonathan did a great job communicating every week and my son loved it. I am definitely doing it again in the future bc the price is unbeatable and the kids have so much fun.
Coach Joe is terrific. First name removed really enjoyed the games.
I love child watch service while I workout
There are multiple pools to choose from. The indoor pools are available all the time, so I can go anytime.
The soccer program this spring was great for my first-time player. My son is getting a great deal out of the tennis program
Outdoor 50m pool!! Awesome to train in!
Organization and communication were good. Staff was caring and responsible.
Organization and communication were good. Staff was caring and responsible.
For my daughter this is the best place to have a lot of fun and learn new things about sport
I like when stuff that works with kids is friendly and can help a shy kid to feel good about themselves
Everything is superb 👍🏻
That good sportsmanship and skills are taught throughout the season. I like that the focus is not just on the game itself. The kindness and patience of the coaching staff is appreciated
I’m happy With the small group for swimming lessons
We had a great experience with the soccer league at the Upper Main Line YMCA. The program was well organized and focused on letting kids learn basic skills while having fun.
Many classes to chose from and opportunities to swim or exercise on your own
Love that there is easy child care for me included in the family membership and the outdoor 50 M pool for lap swimming is fantastic!!
T ball coaches were awesome!
This was my son's 3rd soccer season and he continues to enjoy the experience. His coach (Jeremy) was great at encouraging and supporting the players as they learned how to play individually and as a team.
The league was a very welcoming environment for my son, who is new to soccer. They played the game, but the emphasis was on learning skills rather than being competitive.
I love everything about the YMCA. It has been a wonderful place for myself and my entire family. I love all the programs and everyone that works at the Upper Main Line YMCA!!!
Variety of things to do and times available
I thought it was a great way for kids to get introduced to soccer. My daughter had a great time.
The best Y I've ever been in - would recommend it to anybody.
I feel like you offer a wide variety of classes. Something for everyone. The pool is great! Love the inside pool too. Again , if too cold outside, have option to use indoor pool. Bathrooms inside are clean! Outside bathrooms by family pool are poor. Dirty and electric not working. Total darkness often. Hard when ya have kids. That would be my only concern. Maybe need to be replaced. The rest is great! We love UMLY!!!! Thank you!
I like the variety of programs, and the opportunity to do them, either in a group or as an individual. This includes the fitness center and the wide variety of exercise classes, as well as the swimming opportunities.
We love the Y sports programs. We've done Soccer and Basketball so far and can't wait to try more! The coaches are kind volunteers, that want to make a difference and encourage the kids to do their best. And last but certainly not least, the staff at the Y are something special. They know each child by name and truly care about them. My son has become more confident since he started participating in youth sports and it makes me so happy. We love the Y, because it's like being apart of a family!
I like Body Attack and Grit (although there should not be a charge for Geit because it's free everywhere else).
Helen Flanders, and all the staff, especially the swim guards---
Chris, Arnie, CJ, James, etc.
and the Swim Team staff--Lou, Drew, and Jamie and others.

i like the variety of the programs. i was very surprised to learn that the UMLY facility doesn't have any aqua all day camps. We have to go to another facility to swim all day.
