I researched the Hunt site and based on her profile of properties she has been involved with and the locations she was familiar with, it was a no brainer to pick her.
When I tell you from day one she was nothing less than professional and the knowledge she offers is KEY. She made herself completely available 247 literally I don't think she sleeps :). She kept contact throughout the process. Going to look at houses during the holidays and freezing cold was nothing to look forward to but she kept it fun and always made me feel like I was her only client. I have known Rebecca for 25+ years. She was my boss back in the day. Back then she was actually the best boss I had ever had. She was thorough, timely, fair, accountable, fun, serious yet able to make the day to day seem not so tedious. Time had past and we lost touch. Jeeva Seevaratnam helped me to buy my first house.
It can be a bit scary to buy your first house, but Jeeva made the experience as pleasant as possible. Since I was very new to homebuying, I had a ton of questions and concerns which Jeeva patiently answered. Jeeva even took the time to walk me through what I should look for when we were viewing houses. Jeeva is also very knowledgeable in real estate investment and he shared some of that knowledge with me which I really appreciated.
Jeeva is excellent at negotiating. He got me a great deal on my house--I was honestly expecting to pay a few thousand more. During the final walkthrough, we found that the macerator pump in the basement was not working. Jeeva took the initiative and negotiated with the seller for a generous credit to fix the pump.
I have worked with a few other realtors and Jeeva was by far the best out of all of them. Jeeva has an incredible work ethic--even while he was recovering from surgery, he was still working and staying in touch with me. While I was working with Jeeva, I never doubted that he was looking out for my interests. Even after I've bought my house, he is still checking in with me to make sure that everything is ok and I know that I can contact him for anything that I need.
