I highly recommend Mathnasium. Our experience with the Severna Park branch, their staff and owner has been an amazing one. Allison is extremely professional, friendly and my daughter loves her. She is amazing with children and enthusiastic as well as passionate about math. My daughter comes home very happy with the tutoring sessions and tells me that she loves the method used to help her master the mathematical concepts that she struggles with. Her math grades have improved and we are thrilled that she's learning so much. I know that for a lot of people the financial consideration is a big issue, but if you're on the borderline like I was, I can tell you that it's worth every penny. My daughter had private tutors in the past (3 to be exact) and although she did well and it was cheaper, I see a huge difference in her comprehension and excitement for mathematics that I have never seen before. I feel blessed and lucky that I am able to send her to Mathnasium and wish I would have started much earlier. Thank you to all the staff and owner of the Severna Park branch for all their patience, hard work and genuine care for my daughter's progress.
So far so good. Katie shows progress and she likes it. I think it is expensive - which will be tough for some folks so not sure I could recommend it to everyone.

Mathnasium-Severna Park has been wonderful for our family. Our nine-year old has previously been lukewarm about learning math, but she jumps excitedly in the car every time she has an appointment. We thank all the instructors (Amalia, Abby, William, etc.) and Allison for leading such a solid operation. Everyone is engaged, attentive and warm. Thank you!
My daughter is gaining confidence and assurance in the work she is doing. Other students are now asking her for help.
My son has looked forward to his sessions and his confidence has improved along with his math scores. He is a sophomore and in Algebra ll. When they aren't working on his class work, they work on SAT prep. I'm hoping it will help there as well.
Everyone has been very polite and accommodating as possible. I'm happy with my decision to sign my son up for tutoring.

My kids absolutely love Mathnasium. I thought it was going to be a challenge to keep them excited about going but they look forward to each session every week.
The program was able to address my primary concerns which was to get my daughter to achieve a passing grade then to start working the fundamentals. My daughter is happy to attend the sessions and has the conference in her ability to perform at level with her peers

My kids LOVE going to Mathnasium. They even chant MATHNASIUM on the way there. They are excited that the teachers actually help them learn what they do not understand. They are also motivated by prices. My children are both girls and ages 6 and 8.
My daughter loves going to Mathnasium! All of the teachers have been so nice! She’s so motivated to learn and work hard! She even put math down as her favorite subject in an All About Me project because of Mathnasium!

We had a really great experience. Our daughter could not wait to go to math class everyday. She begged to go to as many session as possible. We could start to tell a difference in her skill level within a week. I only wish that you had a "class pack" kind of option. Like purchase 15 visits to use over 6 months or something. Otherwise, she is already looking forward to coming back next summer!
Just know I’m very appreciative of all the instructors who help Beni. Please challenge him and keep me posted on his progress.

I have been thrilled with the service. From the moment I sent my inquiry I was contacted and walked through the process of enrolling our daughter. Allison has been a joy to work with and has made our daughter fall in love with math. We could not be happier with our experience. Our girl raised her grade from in the 50s to As and Bs in a few weeks- nothing short of amazing.
