My son had been feeling insecure and depressed over struggling in math class. Sometimes it's all about how you're taught the concepts. The Mathnasium tutors showed him each concept once and he grasped the concept, taking off and understanding. My son always did well in Math, but sometimes it's just a teacher who doesn't connect. My name is Pamela Johnson and I had my 9 year old daughter go here twice a week for one month. The director was so friendly and kept me informed about her progress. We had a very positive experience at Mathnasium of Severna Park. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

The store manager (Allison Arslanian Email address removed) is awesome, knows names, greets people and says good-bye. She is proactive and has been very helpful when we bring in tests and mathwork to make sure it's part of what gets worked on. It's a super supportive, well run environment and we're very glad we brought our son there to get math strong!

The material is geared towards his skill set and we can always ask for extra time or review on a concept from school. The homework help is also invaluable! The instructors have so much patience and they create a positive, supportive environment that encourages each student to speak up and ask questions if they don't understand. 100% judgement free and we couldn't think of anywhere that could do a better job boosting math confidence.
