I believe that it is not true that people are born to be good or bad at math. It all comes down to a teacher Fortunately Mathnesium teaching style is another proof of that.
Students are being taught a fixed set of techniques to solve the problem at elementary school.
Mathnesium, on the contrary, teaches students thinking, logical steps and reasoning.
The content of the class is always explained very well and my son finds it really easy to understand.
Mathnesium is an excellent school with outstanding educators.

I had first heard about Mathnasiam through our school and again with our neighbours who enrolled their children. This past semester my son was learning division but by the time they reached 3 digits the teacher was out of time to further review. What happens now to all those students who didn’t catch on or who didn’t completely understand. After Covid and all the home schooling there are many kids that are falling behind but many parents don’t actually know by how far. In meeting with Sylvia during my initial consultation and discussing my concerns about our public schools curriculum after home schooling due to covid, we had a wonderful conversation. She was very helpful, real and understood where I was coming from as a parent in advocating for my sons math educational needs. My son loves going it is never a struggle to get him out the door to go. The program is fantastic as they have many incentives and truly take the time to understand your child needs and from their learning perspective.
If your thinking of joining Mathnasium for your child, it’s definitely the right thing to do.

My child loves going here! She looks forward to each session and is always so excited when she comes out to tell me what she has learned. Honestly, Mathnasium gives us peace of mind to know she is not only getting the support she needs in math, but she is also started to like math again!
Mathnasium has worked very well for both my girls. One of them has caught up from a two-year delay and is now excelling in her grade 7 independent school math class.
My younger daughter is learning quickly, enjoys the sessions, and is proud of the work she is doing. She looks forward to going and earning her punches on the punch card.

Sylvia is amazing! Since the first moment we walked into the center we felt very welcome. My son had found it very easy, fun and flexible way to learn.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. My son loves being in this learning environment and enjoys every session.
We have just started, but already we see a difference
1 month in and my daughter (10) is still looking forward to each session. This is huge because starting any math homework with my daughter in the past has led to tears and frustration for all of us.
So far so good.. My child has only been attending for a short period of time, but seems to be quite comfortable and does not seem to dread their time there at all. It's a nice surprise.
So far my daughter has been having a great learning experience at Mathnasium. I’m very thankful with the teachers for their dedication and the help they have provided my daughter.
