I like the group classes and the dynamic, diverse group of people who are members and staff.

The Instructors that I have taken classes with are amazing!!! The building itself seems very clean and taken care of. My only suggestion for improvement would be for the ladies bathroom. Not sure why but by the ladies toilets there always seems to be a strong mildew smell. Not sure what is causing it but I have not noticed that at the North Kansas City YMCA.
Cleaver Family YMCA is a very welcoming and helpful place to exercise. The staff is available to answer questions, show you how to use equipment, and make suggestions. The members who use Cleaver Y are a happy and friendly group.
I work independently with Monica, a personal trainer. I am impressed with her knowledge and her constant studying and qualifying for extended certification for her job. She listens to my needs and makes suggestions for new ways to exercise. She is very encouraging.

be a big deal to the YMCA, I like that. They email you and keep you in the loop on whats going on at the Y. Membership is affordable.
