I enjoy water Zumba with Kelly Hrisak and line dancing.
It is very clean, I love the swimming pools. The locker areas are also very nice. Everything is well kept. There is a very nice walking track. The only complaint I might have is the patrons not really being mindful all the time. Absent minded strollers on their phone walking in the running path Has nearly caused a number of collisions and inconsiderate swimmers, purposefully, ignoring people wishing to share lanes with them. That is not the norm, however, thankfully.

I think the employees are wonderful. It is clean and a generally enjoyable experience. The only reason it's not a 10 is that I think the locker room and pool facilities need a major upgrade. Compared to some other area Y's, we look stuck in the 80s. It would also be great to have more classes offered in hours after typical work days or weekends, but I understand that might be a challenge to find instructors.
Anyway, overall great experience.
Wonderful people (employees), wonderful people (customers), terrific pool, great teachers, Over 50 Agenda (just great - Thanks Kelly), CLEAN, bad smells immediately handled, TVs by machines, track for walking super, Women's Locker Room always clean, especially like the rubber mats from locker room to pool hall. Please keep the Nu-Step machines.
Staff was extremely friendly when I signed up and they have all the amenities I love like the pool but I'm excited to try everything!! The price is extremely reasonable as well!!
We mainly use the indoor pool and have signed our daughter up for swimming lessons. Most of the staff have been friendly and helpful.

I have very good experiences at Platte County Community Center South. It’s a clean environment, there is a lot to do, I really enjoy going there. One area that is frustrating, though, is that people SIT on the machines even when that person is not using the matchine. If you are not using the machine, move off of it. It’s not a chair! This is frustrating!

Classes, proximity to me, friendly helpful staff. All around pleasant experience all the time
It’s clean and cheerful. I primarily use the pool. I appreciate that parents with children are mindful of adults who are there to exercise not play. This has not been my experience at other Y’s which is why I prefer Platte South Y.
