I use the pool for lap swims 3 times a week. I usually do not have to wait long for a lap lane except in the summer when all those delightful children are learning to swim. I am a retired pediatrician and really enjoy watching their happy faces and activity.

the Platte County Y has built an outstanding senior program. We exercise to stay active and independent, we socialize to stay connected, and the instructors not only get us moving they make us laugh.
The YMCA in Parkville is very welcoming and well kept. The staff assists when needed but isn't pushy either. There are ample watering stations and plenty of paper towels and disinfectant stations available. I work out there five days a week and everybody but a few give you your space and understand the gym is for work and not play. This place is well run!

Platte Community Center South is a really cleaned, organized center, and there are also very nice pool, saona, hot tup, steam, many kinds of sports and in addition there is a wonderful and helpful staff. Personaly I am satisfied with all things in The-Y.
