I really like how friendly the staff are at the desk. They always greet you and are quick to check you in. They also will help with lost and found items. Since I have a garden spot in the YMCA community garden I appreciate that they know what to do with the fresh produce I bring in from the garden, which is a timely matter needed to get the food to those who need it at the food pantry.

Wide variety of classes with excellent instructors. Great equipment on the weight floor. Don’t have to wait for a treadmill, bike or rowing machine.

Very good instructors and very good fitness classes. The pool, walking tracck, and weight areas are also quite nice.
We love the silver sneakers, aqua tabata, aqua turbo, AOA classes and the staff at Platte City YMCA!!

As a whole work as a Community
Thomas the Personal Trainer was exceptional! He took alot of time to guide my son through the weight machines and provided safety tips with excellent instruction. He deserves to be recognized in some way and to get some type of bonus or raise for his exceptional personal skills.
