For the most part the staff is friendly. It is very convenient and great, ample parking. This Y offers a great variety of classes and Pickleball.
We love the space and the convenience.
I like everything about the Platte County community center. There are a lot of aquatic options. The center is very clean, and there are very many options for exercising.
A variety of exercise classes for seniors
I like the Pickleball schedule, and I play most days. I have a few suggestions that would improve the experience:
1. Better lighting. The lights need updating and should all be uniform with the same bulbs.
2. There should be blinds covering all of the windows, not just some of them.
3. The padding on the walls was lined up with the basketball courts, not the Pickleball courts. There should be padding for Pickleball players, too.
4. Many days, we have to find someone to raise the basketball goals. This should be assigned to someone and should happen automatically, each day as we start to play.
I love the pool, track, and class variety.

The employees managing and working at the CC are wonderful, always pleasant and care about all they come into contact with.
I have been going there for 4 years straight and the equipment is cleaner and more up to date than other gyms in the area. Everything I need for a complete workout is there and lacks absolutely nothing. There is even a blow dryer, scale and handsoap as well as paper towels there to accommodate. Staff always talks to you and you aren’t just ignored.

It's a fun place to be with wonderful classes and a fun, friendly, helpful and positive atmosphere. I've met great friends here while working out and getting fit. The gym itself is beautiful from top to bottom. Thank you!

Variety of water fitness and classes for seniors. Some days there are so many seniors just hanging out and socializing. With our kids growing up and family moving away, it's great to have a place for seniors to get physically fitter and emotionally fitter. And the staff has been friendly and helpful.
Most everyone is friendly. The Y has everything anyone would need to work out and the premises are always clean and well cared for. Would like to see more activity regarding things like bus trips from Parkville to places of interest around the state and country.
