Everyone is so nice and helpful. I thought I would feel embarrassed about not being able to swim, but there are many other adults in my same situation. My swimming instructor is AWESOME!

The North KC YMCA is a great, well run Y. The employees are all excellent, professional and friendly. It is a gem in North KC.
I've only had experience with the swim lessons, so that's all I can answer to. I am very impressed with swim lessons. The instructors are very good at managing the children and teaching them. I'm also impressed with the fact that the Y offers childcare and offers so many other programs other than swim lessons.
It’s a really nice facility
It is a joy to work out regularly at the Y where the environment is healthy and friendly . I enjoy it's welcoming atmosphere towards athletes and newcomers , children , families , singles , International and Senior participants!
Debbi, at the front desk every morning, is the most friendly greeter ever! She always has a friendly greeting for everyone.
Fantastic classes
Most of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection of classes. However this morning the place was filthy, long hairs all over the showers and the fitness room had toys and trash all around very the floor. I would have been embarrassed to recommend it. I would think the showers, locker room and fitness rooms would be cleaned daily.
