Senior program
Michelle Leifert does an awesome job with AOA classes and events.
I Love the variety of programs that are offered. I love that there is something for everyone no matter your fitness level. I also love that there is a book club and off campus outings. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.
I love the family atmosphere. All employees there to help us no matter what our issues are. They are easily ready to reach out to any of us folks and help find the answer to our problems if they can. They work with us and are so very caring with whatever our issues are.
I have been a member for over 25 years.
Not over crowded
Variety of classes and instructors
Very family place and good place to work out
Great equipment and easy to use. Busy but not swamped so that I can’t enjoy my workout
Opportunity to exercise with many options. Also Michelle Leifert does such a good job with the Active Older Adults.
The front desk personnel are very friendly and attentive, especially Noah. The choice of machines and quantity is very impressive. Atmosphere is very positive and my concerns have been quickly addressed.
It's friendly clean place to workout.
I had an excellent experience with personal training at the Olathe YMCA. Dain was my trainer and he was excellent. I lost about 15 pounds, and then lost an additional 25 pounds with the skills I learned. The environment was very welcoming, especially since I knew absolutely nothing about weight lifting. This is a great way to learn about fitness and I would recommend to anyone.
Friendly people, access to quality equipment, classes offered. Would like to see less chlorine in the lane pool. It is so potent I feel unsafe when I used it.
The veteran membership plan is amazing!
Friendly people. No pressure. Come and go as you want.
Good classes
Great place to workout and meet friends! Classes are great, instructors are encouraging and always full of energy!!
Has everything needed to be active.
The Y is quiet and has great equipment and resources.
The atmosphere, they have the equipment I need,
Cleanliness.
It is my ‘community’. It is where I go to exercise, meet up with friends, and volunteer in the community. The staff is warm and friendly and knowledgeable on fitness requirements.
Classes for older members.
Absolutely everything, with one exception, the locker room is cold when you get out of that deliciously warm pool. Just kidding (not really). How could anyone find fault in a place that is so friendly and welcoming. I love my Silver Sneakers classes and the fellowship within. Michelle and Rosetta are terrific. Both are so cheerful, encouraging, entertaining, warm and friendly. They have a genuine concern for their class members. I can't say enough good things about those ladies. Honestly, the Y has alleviated my nagging dread of becoming a lonely older adult. Tons of fun activities. It is rarely crowded on the work out equipment so I can drop in anytime if I miss my class. I wish I'd joined years ago. Thank you all for what you do.
Yoga classes
I like the evening classes that are offered. I like that they are not dropped but new stuff is offered too.
The variety of options for members to participate and enjoy. The flexibility of schedules
The atmosphere is very welcoming, friendly, and caring. It's a pleasure to get to enter the facility.

Your customer service people provide very good customer service. They always smile as they attend to the clients. The trainers are very experienced and want every client to get the best at the gym. Personally, I have seen a great change in my body. I am able to do things like sit-ups, running, and other exercises that I could not do before I joined YMCA.
