All of the teachers treated my son like their own! He came home multiple times a week with art projects, and they had so many fun field trips!

Convenient location to my home, early/late hours, weekly field trips
At first my son was not very excited about it. I was able to talk with the director and she had a couple ideas to try. I did not hear back from her but saw the change in my son. I would say the only bad experience is at pick up. I had the impression the staff would be out greeting parents, like drop off. However that was not the case. A lot of times I would have to get my toddler out and go in to check my son out. Other than that I am extremely pleased with our experience! As a former camp director my self, I am so glad of this opportunity for my son and others!

My boys come home happy and exhausted each day. They talk wildly about field trips, water day, art projects, you name it. They have met some great kids and really like their counselors.
We LOVE Y-Care Day/Summer Camp. Our son enjoys all of the councilors and activities planned each time he attends.

It was all well organized. I felt informed of what was going on the entire time, and it seems like the staff really does a good job with the kids. The field trips were fun and the hours are so accommodating for families who have to work standard business hours. During the big storm on 7/14, the staff went above and beyond for our son and I really appreciate it.
We absolutely love this program and all the hard people who put this together. The kids are always busy with activities and you can tell the counselors want to be there. It's easy to contact them with any questions and make changes to the schedule.

Variety of activities and the teachers
The YMCA has fantastic staff. I appreciate the weekly e-mails that tell not only what happy that week but reminders on what’s to come the following week. They have an academic focus that changes weekly, dinosaurs, space, etc. they have lots of trips ( science city, swimming, Zoo) and guests that come to the school ( police, dairy farmers, a magic show). So many amazing activities and crafts that keep the summer fun and interesting for my daughter. I love this program!!
My son loved the activities and the ability to go to the park across the street! He enjoyed his time there and had no complaints! It was also easy to drop him off and pick him up. Signing in and out was easy too. Staff was always very friendly and kind.

My son loves Day Camp! He has a blast. I work normal business hours and always feel bad that I have less time throughout the summer to do things that all kids look forward to during summer break. He loves all the activities and getting to see his friends. Everyone who works there has been wonderful. Tara especially has been amazing with my son both years he's been. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Comfortable there. I also LOVED the counselors! They were all so communicative, kind and good with all the kids! They all planned activities that engaged my son and had him looking forward to going back each day!
