We have only been going about a month but my son who is 10 doesn't ever mind going. He actually has used the word "fun". The instructors are warm, welcoming and are very good at relating to the kids. I would highly recommend! The rewards program with the punch cards is a great idea and one that seems to motivate him right now.
So far, my child is loving it!
This has been a life saver for us. The extra practice is wonderful and she gets much needed help with her homework. The instructors have a way of explaining that my daughter really understands. They make sure she is prepared for her upcoming tests. She enjoys going there after a long day of school and cheer practice. She comes out of there feeling very accomplished and confident!!! We are still fairly new to the program. The one thing that has stood out the most is the change in my daughter's attitude about going to "tutoring". She enjoys working with the instructors and the work she is doing makes her feel good about her abilities.
Lilia's math grade has continued to improve since she began one month ago, March 1st. She looks forward to attending and actually asks to go. When we can't fit it in our schedule, she is disappointed. She values everything she is learning at Mathnasium and is more confident with her Algebra 1 class. Before we began Mathnasium, I had spoken to her guidance counselor at school about her retaking Algebra because I thought she may not pass, or possibly get a D at the most. Now that is not even a consideration because we are both realizing her grade is going to be just fine, and more importantly, her understanding of the math concepts.
My daughter was struggling with even the basic math skills before she started with Mathnasium. Now after about four weeks of attending, she can quickly do math in her head (no more counting fingers!) and the homework help has been wonderful! She's now excited about getting her homework done

What a joy it has been to have both of my children tugging at me to go to Mathnasium! We go 4 days a week and they love it.
