So far my son has really not minded coming and has even said mom I learned how to convert fractions finally.
We were pleasantly surprised at how well our 5yr old was doing after just 3weeks in Mathnasium. After a cross country move & a decision to homeschool, mathnasium was the perfect place to make sure we were keeping up with his kindergarten peers. Not only is he keeping up, but we are now 45% mastered with 1st grade math. We finish kindergarten in 2 weeks!

We brought our son to Mathnasium as he was transitioning to a new school following Christmas break. ADD and a processing disorder made math particularly hard for him and his grades in his previous school suffered greatly along with his self confidence. Even with private tutoring, he struggled.
Upon entering his new school , they recommended Mathnasium. They said they had seen great results in student who attended. Well they were absolutely correct!!! From day one we were given a full outline of the program details and how the Mathnasium team would partner not only with us as parents but also with the schools teachers to help create a plan that was tailored to fit my sons specific needs. Not only do they help keep him on track in his current studies, they also are working to get him up to speed with past concepts he had not previously mastered.
The help they provide to him daily has turned homework and studying from a dreaded horrible event to a pleasant and rewarding experience. Today, he finished his math work in after school carpool. He could not wait to get to Mathnasium to have them check his work. He has gone from a D student in Math to averaging an A- in his first 4 weeks of the new term.
I cannot thank John and his team enough for the support and guidance they have provided to my son and to us as parents. I am seeing my sweet boy be joyous and excited realizing his great potential. Thank you Mathnasium for being part of our village and taking such an active role in caring for our son.
Our daughter had lost her confidence in Math but through the support and kindness of the staff she has not only regained her confidence but is motivated to progress further. John and the staff are very professional and kid friendly. They invest in your child's well-being and have their best interest in mind always. The flexibility and simplicity of the plan and process is great for active families. The free assessment to discover your child's initial math level is very detailed and allows you to see where they can make the most impact the quickest. mastery tests and monthly emails provide you updates on your childs progress. Finally they work seamlessly with you, your child's teachers, academic support staff, and counselors to make your child's success a team effort.
We've definitely seen and improvement in her understanding of current math lessons and improvement in other weak areas she tested in when evaluated for enrollment.

My 10 year old always complained about Math. Partly because he didn't really understand the basics. When he finally did, they had moved on.
I love they take time on the things the need until they " get it".
My children have been doing so much better in school since they started classes at Mathnasium. Mia and his staff are great. They keep up with the kids would frequent assessments and emails Notifications to the parents. I would highly recommend them to others.
