Katrina the owner is very personable and gets to know her students. She takes time to sit down and talk with each parent during enrolling process. She takes time to find out about the child and explain how the program works. She has been responsive to email and phone messages with questions. My daughter is having a positive experience and starting to learn math concepts she didn't fully learn during school year. She feels comfortable at the center and likes that the staff helps her with a concept until she is able to grasp the concepts. The staff was patient and didn't get inpatient with her. It took a whole session on one topic one day. She felt so accomplished when she left that day. My daughter is becoming more confident with her math abilities and believes she can do math!
The teacher he has had so far is so very patient. She knows when he needs his breaks and keeps him engaged for the entire time. He really loves working with her and never wants to miss a class. Thank you, Mathnasium for all of your hard work, caring and skills!

Katrina and her team are awesome! Our kids have never enjoyed math like this before. And importantly, I feel like they are not just learning math but they are learning how to learn. Bravo on this very encouraging and supportive program! That’s especially appreciated given remote learning last year due to Covid. Mathnasium is helping us ensure the kids don’t fall behind because of Covid.
We just started back with Mathnasium after a break during Covid. With the environment structured as it is at Mathnasium, our son has settled back into his routine here. With a virtual option while away on vacation, this was made even easier.

Mathnasium has done wonders for both of my kids. They enjoy going and their confidence has increased tremendously. The program is simply amazing! My son absolutely loves going. The feedback he receives on his work is excellent, and he loves working toward the prizes. The director, Katrina, is very engaged with both the students and parents. She is always available for questions and takes time to explain each step of the way. Even though my son has only been coming for a month, I've been impressed with the concept and the tutors. Finding the right time to come, when its more quiet, has been the biggest challenge, but we are flexible and have been able to come later in the evening. I have found that Katrina has been very responsive to some of my initial concerns and she works hard to make sure that all students are receiving the support that they need.
Let me make this simple... after just two sessions my 10 year old son asked me to start picking him up from school rather than ride the bus home so that he could get to Mathnasium earlier. He also asks to go 4 days a week. This comes from a young man that has really been struggling with math. He has been at Mathnasium for a month and there is no sign of losing interests. Mathnasium is impacting our whole family for the better. The homework stress at our house has gone way down now that our daughter can receive math support 5 days per week! Both she and her younger sister enjoy doing their math in this low-stress, nurturing environment. Katrina and her staff are a godsend.
Great teachers my son loves it
My son has always struggled with math. Last year my son received his first "A" on his report card in this subject matter. This year, I saw him slowly slipping again so we came back to Mathnasium before his grade suffered too much. He was receiving test scores in the low or mid 60's and after we started tutoring again his grade is in the 80's. I know he can achieve another "A" with the help of the wonderful tutors at Mathnasium.
I have three children attending: Collier, Mary Watts and Wesley. Thus far, they are having a great experience. Katrina is doing a great job.
After my son's assessment we realized that we had some gaps to fill and Katrina and her team have been wonderful in helping our son start to fill the gaps. My son has truly enjoyed coming to Mathnasium! Giving him small goals leading to larger ones with lots of encouragement has been perfect. He especially likes it when the "high school boys" (his words) are there to help him with his work.
We've found that making time to be at Mathnasium is easier than we expected. Traditionally, I'll bring him when I'm working on a project for work and sit in the lobby and get almost as much accomplished as my son does during his session!
All in all Mathnasium has been a wonderful experience for both my son and our family.
