100s are here! My son was struggling with math, but Mathnasium has helped him improve immensely. Think of math as a foundation of bricks. Each brick is an important lesson for the next lesson and the next and so on. If your child is missing bricks from their math foundation? It will be difficult to keep going. Mathnasium will replace those bricks as well as help your child understand the current homework. My son is 11 and he loves the incentive program. They have wonderful prizes that the kids love to earn. It's like Monkey Joes for Math! I wish we had come sooner!

My son's (11 and 9) started Mathnasium about 6 weeks ago to combat "summer slide". Both have enjoyed learning and they like the games and incentives that make it fun and interesting. The convenience of the "drop-in" format works well for our busy family and I think that we will continue with it this fall and maybe throughout the school year. I am excited to see how it will compliment their regular math coursework.

Mathnasium is an awesome place and has a great learning environment. My daughter has already learned so much and has now become excited about learning math. My children have truly enjoyed Mathnasium. Katrina has a way of making learning math fun for them. They were both dragging their feet when I told them that we were going to try this, but now they LOVE to go!! They never fight me when I tell them they are going. Katrina is wonderful and has a gift at what she does.
Our experience has been wonderful and such a friendly place where my son has learned not only how to better understand his math but gain confidence to help him feel comfortable to tackle his schoolwork. We will be here often during the summer months to keep on target and even hopefully get ahead for his 8th grade school year. Only positive so far from this extra help and can't wait to get my son ahead this coming year.
My daughter has made so much progress in just one month with Mathnasium. We can see improvements in her speed, and she can do more math in her head. She is beginning to understand concepts with time, conversions and fractions that were previously challenging and that she's never been encouraged to continue learning in public school. I've never heard her express that what she's learning in math is truly easy, but that's what she believes now, and we're seeing the proof. I was very please how the staff took Jada and work to make sure she understood the way Math works; also everyday send a note with her to let me know what she worked on that day. It's a clean comfortable please and I knew she would be safe there. Thanks to the team at Myers Park for helping Jada to get a 100% grade.

My brother is in the 4th grade and he was struggling with math in school. He was getting failing grades, and even though he was getting extra help at school it didn't seem to be working. So we decided to get him extra help after school and we found Mathnasium. Within a week my brother was getting 100s in his assessments and tests. In his MAPS tests he got a high score, this was the first time in the school year that we had a seen a 100 on a test he had taken. We are incredibly happy with Mathnasium and the staff there. The staff is always nice and welcoming. If the student is struggling they'll take the time to explain as many times needed for the student to understand. They're fantastic!
Wonderful experience and my son is enjoying learning about math....first time I've ever been told by him that he is liking math. Best decision we have made in a while and will continue to keep bringing him for help. Katrina is so sweet and all the help she hires are great!!!

My daughter's confidence in math has greatly improved. She wants to go to Mathnasium because she believes that the program is helping her. She is excited to learn about fractions and she relates that knowledge in real life. She is learning new math concepts and that keeps her motivated.
After just the first month of my daughter attending Mathnasium (Myers Park facility), I've noticed a transformative difference in her attitude and willingness to do her math homework, with the most notable difference being her independence in doing so. She begs me to go to Mathnasium most nights, which was not expected! The instructors there are very patient and very invested in my daughter's progress, not only with her understanding of math concepts, but also her working independently and confidently in those concepts. I look forward to her math skills progress and confidence gained over the next several months, as this first month at Mathnasium has truly been a blessing to my daughter (and to my husband and I!). I now see a light at the end of the tunnel for my daughter with regard to her understanding math and succeeding in that area.
My son has struggled with math for years. He is a smart kid but somehow he didn’t master some of the fundamentals. He went to mathnasium for approximately 7 sessions and raised his final exam score to an 88 from a D on his midterm exam. We are over joyed and will be going back for SAT prep.
