My daughter actually likes Math but was always frustrated because no one has ever taught her less complicated ways to solve math problems. SO far my son is finally getting to understand math he just started so hopefully he will get to understand and learn everything about math.What a like about the program the most is the one on one tutoring and how quite the surroundings r for my son to concentrate as he is learning.
Hi, I was recommended to Mathnasium by a friend and I enrolled my son in November and before the end of the school year we saw great results. He learned great skills that he was able to direct to his other subjects. Not only did he go from a -C student to a solid B+ student in math but his overall average improved. We are so very pleased with Mathnasium. It was worth the time and money. I will be enrolling him this school year. He will be entering the eighth grade. Many of his frustrations with math has gone away and that's comforting for me as a parent.

My teenage son was highly math-resistant, but Mathnasium patiently, gently worked with him, till he passed both his school course and even did nicely on his Regent. SO grateful!!!!

Carl has been terrifically helpful, as all the staff has at Mathnasium. They are quick to respond with any issues and always pleasant. Both my children have showed improvement within a very short period of time at Mathnasium.
So far, it's been a positive experience for our son. He's only about a month into his work, so we'll know a lot more about the results as time goes on. We do have every reason to believe it's going to be very productive, though.
Prior to joining Mathnasium, Jaedyn was failing and fearful of math. At the end of the school year, he averaged at a B+. I have never seen Jaedyn more confident about math. Also, the Mathnasium staff are exceptional! We are looking forward to returning in August.
My children have consistently progressed through the math curriculum. The kids go to a private school and we like Mathnasium as an independent party to assess where they stand.

I have heard great things from many families about Mathnasium and how much it has helped students at all levels. My son seemed to be struggling in math and is now holding his own at around 90. We wondered if he would resist the idea of tutoring, but he hasn't at all -- I think he sees that it's helping. The extra work on math and focusing on the kinds of math problems he faces in school has helped put him and keep him at a much more stable level.

Mathnasium has provided Anaya with a comfortable space to practice and build her confidence in math. She was able to earn a 4 in her state exam with the additional practice she received. She has also learned more strategies to help her reach the correct answers.
