Great place for math
My son has really been enjoying attending since Aug of this year. We can see the results in school - he better understands not only material that he had trouble with last school year, but his thinking of how to solve problems better. He has more to learn but this is the foundation I had been looking for. As a parent, I love that we get (and ask) for progress reports. Instead of just a file, they go through his progress in person.
I would have given a 10 if they had some sessions on Friday, but I understand the challenges they face with available staff. Because he has normal school work during the week, Friday's are usually a good option, but we have started to attend on Saturdays recently and that's been working out.
Skylar was not into Math much but she started to get her interest in Math. She loves going to Mathnasium and I am so glad to find this place. Thanks a lot!

My daughter enjoys the classes, as well as the points and rewards. I like the assessments that are happening, and the customized plans that are being built for her. I appreciate the instructional component in the small group setting. The fact that she doesn’t complain about going to her Mathnasuim classes is testament to your center!
The one development area I would have you focus on is make sure the instructors are all trained on how to deal with kids- there is one that I hear complaints about
Hi - We wish there were hours on Friday. As a my daughter competes in weekend tournaments Sat-Sun and has practices 3x week. Usually Fri AM the best opening for her. When school returns please consider 1-3 slot opening due to early dismissal in public schools on Weds

Very attentive and professional staff that supports all questions related to appointments and student needs. The scheduling system is also easy to use and allows for managing changes due to conflicts. I have very much appreciated the regular assessments and follow up to learn more about my student, i.e. the test results are discussed, current path explained and future opportunities are outlined. Thank you for the attention to detail and prompt/effective follow up.
My son Alexander started attending Mathnasium last August 2021 to help him review and get caught up to his 4th grade math level. His confidence was low going in and the young staff are so helpful explaining every detail. Today, he has accomplished all of his assessments for 5th grade and he feels confident in his ability and knowledge of math. I am so proud and happy we enrolled him at Mathnasium. The staff at the Laurelwood location has been wonderful with changing appointments, making-up missed days and most of all keeping us informed of my son’s progress.

Mathnasium explained the problem solving process to students. So they can think and K earn how to approach the tasks.
Convenient scheduling process
Excellent tutors and material. Great experience for both of my kids (one excellent at math and one not as much). The sessions improved their math grades and helped them complete their homework independently.
Mathnasium motivated my grand daughter with prize and encouragement, and she think her concentration has improved.
Great staff. My son has been receiving help from them to prepare for Honor Geometry in the fall. He says he is starting to understand. Geometry is different and you need to have a great staff that can help the student understand. I believe this will help our son when he gets back to school.
Great program where my son has grown with full confidence in math
Our daughter has gone from “hating” math to naming it as her favorite subject thanks in large part to Mathnasium. She moved from her regular math class to a different “advanced” track as a result of the work she did with Mathnasium instructors. They helped her build confidence and competence and now she is excelling. In particular, I want to single out the teaching of Bryan Vo who went above and beyond our expectations. He had excellent insights about our daughter’s strengths and weaknesses and used that information to build a successful strategy that allowed her to improve quickly. He is a gifted teacher.
