Never expected my kiddo to be stoked about tutoring. After years of struggling with math in school, it only took a single session for her to be excited about numbers! Friendly staff, flexible scheduling...hoping we can manage to fit in regular sessions this upcoming school year. My only regret is not enrolling her sooner.
Sarah loved every session with Mathnasium! I feel like her skills got sharper, and she seemed more confident each time. My third grader had an awesome experience at mathnasium in portsmouth. Her elementary school got a grant that allowed several students to have 10 free sessions. I honestly debated going or not because my child hated math so much. After being at school all day, she prefers to ride her bike or play in the garden after school. She gets tier 3 intervention in math at her school. To my surprise, she loved going so much and keeps begging us to go back. Ryan and his team were so friendly and helpful. I even caught my daughter doing math in her bed after I tucked her in for the night. She loved earning prizes and the relaxing music there.
The Mathnasium tutors are very knowledgeable and patient with the students. My son has greatly increased his understanding and comfort with math as a result of him attending Mathnasium.
Our daughter has been with Mathnasium Portsmouth RI for over 4 years and it has been an amazing help for her as Math is her weakest subject. We can thank Ryan and his staff for always being there for her with homework, tests, quizzes and always being proactive with accommodating her needs.

I was a little apprehensive when we first signed up. The process seemed long and I worried about reaching school goals. Luckily Ryan has a lot of patience for parents and kids! He calmly explained that these steps are important and how they are important for over math health! The kids went all summer and learned to love math and are starting to feel confident in their classes. I highly recommend joining this Mathnasium in particular as they have a great team!
