Mathnasium has been a great place for both of my kids. Definitely has helped with improving their marks and the kids like going. Has boosted their confidence as well. With a semester system its good for them to continue working on their math skills when they aren't taking math at school.

Mathnasium has been a wonderful experience for both my son and our family. He had convinced himself that he wasn’t good at math, would avoid anything difficult in his homework and I was trying to relearn grade 9 math concepts after work at night to help him with his homework. We were all under a lot of stress. Mathnasium took all of that away. I was going to write that he is more confident now but, actually, he has confidence now where he didn’t prior to coming to Mathnasium. He loved his time there and never once complained about going. Watching him organise his pages into his binder sent my jaw dropping to the ground – the same kid whose room – if allowed - would look like a perpetual tornado was going off. He loved the little prizes he could earn. Mathnasium has shown my son that “slow and steady’ is the only way to go and we are trying to apply that philosophy to his other more challenging subjects. Mathnasium is an excellent investment and tremendous value for money – my stress was eliminated and my son is a confident kid who actually likes math now – I never thought that was possible. He will be a client all the way through high school. My only regret is that I didn’t start him much earlier. I am so grateful. Thank you for everything. - Wendy

Mathnasium has been brilliant for my son. In one year he went from being an average student who disliked math because he felt he was 'no good at it" to someone who really enjoyed the subject, won a regional math prize and got moved into enriched math class.
Our family are somewhat surprised that he has been so keen on Mathnasium as it's fair to say that schoolwork is not exactly his big passion, He says he likes likes the calm friendly atmosphere and also that the tutors are all incredibly easy going and supportive.
I would strongly suggest that anyone with a child struggling at math give it a go.

I like the fact that you are very accessible and always able to review content before my son has his math test.
Our son has thrived with the assistance of his tutors this year. Lessons learned at school are reinforced in real time and that has been very helpful.
Kids are really enjoying the classes and are more confident. Their marks have both gone up since we started with Mathnasium. The staff is very friendly and very helpful.

My son doesn't complain when I tell him we are going to Mathnasium. It's not that he's thrilled either, but for the most part I think he's enjoying the feeling of understanding the work. At school struggling with math has left him discouraged and given him a negative feeling about himself. We are now 5 months into the program and I'm slowly noticing an improvement, he's excited when he finishes a 'master sheet/level' and that's something. For now, I'm feeling good about his progress and the direction he's headed.
