My children do not necessarily like math & are intimidated by it. They tell me they feel very comfortable with the Mathnasium staff & actually enjoy their sessions rather than feeling frustrated. Our kids have only been going there for a month, but so far they really enjoy it. They are finding a way to make math fun for the kids, which I like. I just wish they had Friday hours or even times a little earlier now that kids aren't school because it gets hard to schedule with other activities. Otherwise they are super flexible, which make scheduling easier!
My kids enjoy going there. Mr Modi really cares and all the teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable. My kids did not like Kumon.
The leadership at the center is exceptional.
My daughter was super hesitant until we went in for a visit. During that meeting she completely bought in. She went from feeling horrible about math to feeling really good and that things finally make sense. Mr. Modi, Fatima and the team have done an amazing job at making her feel welcome, smart and confident in her skills at math. It’s been awesome to watch how quickly she’s embraced going, bringing her homework in and mastering the concepts of math.

Despite the difficulty of the COVID-19 situation, Mr. Modi and team continue to strive to help students succeed in academics. Usage of various, modern technologies, allow students to interact with educators.
I would definately recommend mathnesium. The staff is so patient and this program is perfect for me.
We have been to many after school math programs (Sylvan, Russian Math), we visited Kumon. Our experience with Mathnasium is by far the best. They have programs that are directly connected to the school's curriculum. They are amazingly flexible and supportive in every way. Mr. Modi and Fatima are always available with a smile to help you help your child. I highly recommend Mathnasium of Downers Grove.

If your child struggles with math in school, Mathnasium is most certainly the right place to help bring them where they need to be. It's a friendly environment with instructors who are knowledgeable and patient. They take the time to fill in the gaps that your child may have missed and slowly build their confidence in math back up.
