Our granddaughter was in seventh grade with only second or third grade math skills. She was a willing student, but just didn’t understand math and was floundering in Algebra I. We set her up with Mathnasium and she went enthusiastically three times a week. She is now going into eleventh grade and received an A in math at the end of the last school term. Our child has had a great experience. We have been using Mathnasium as a source of enrichment primarily, with only some tutoring. We feel fortunate to be able to afford this experience. As the school counselor of a school that is 95% free and reduced lunch, I wish I were able to recommend Mathnasium to my families with students who are struggling in math. I would encourage your organization to come up with a way to serve these kinds of clients.

My daughter began at Mathnasium about a month ago. I think there were two issues preventing her from doing very well in high school algebra/geometry. 1. She had poor foundations (her grades in middle school were excellent; this means that math was rigorously. 2. She lacked confidence.It's too early to tell if she'll be able to achieve mastery of the subject. However, she seems far more confident. Thank you Mathnasium!
My son did not like Math before he started to go to mathnasium. Now he is motivated to go. Joe and other tuitors have done a great job on helping him to understand the concept and mechanics of math. We really appreciate it!

Our granddaughter went to Mathnasium for a total of two years, beginning in 8th grade. She was achieving at about second grade level when she began.
